Thanksgiving 2025 Thread

I love the mental association between Easter and Thanksgiving/Christmas. For our family, Easter is the first time that we will all get together to have a big family meal since Christmas. It's impossible to not think of the holidays coming. I'm not sure if we will make a Turkey or a Ham, but I got a certificate last week for a free Ham from Martin's. I don't remember them doing Hams last year unless I missed it.

Happy Awesome April! Today folks we move along and see that we have 233 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 207 days left until November and 146 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving in a week. It will be the 200-Day Marker till November. It will be big for sure. It’s Tuesday folks so time for our Picture Day here on Tuesday as it is every week. Looking forward to it. Aren’t you? Well show us that you are by posting all your favorite pictures of Autumn and Thanksgiving. Those are 2 words we all love very much, and we celebrate every Tuesday by posting pictures of each of them. Whatever you feel like sharing as they say sharing is caring. Turkey friends I hope your week got off to a great start on Monday and that the positivity will continue into Tuesday. And that continues all week long. We have some cool conditions here for early spring but that happens sometimes in my area. Chilly. But I will not put a winter hat on anymore. Sorry I’ve passed that stage. I remember the year I almost put shorts on Christmas Eve, and I refused to do it despite how incredibly record breaking it was with the warmth. Turkey friends Gobble Gobble to you, my friends. Happy Tuesday! This picture was taken at Skyline Drive (Not by me). Skyline drive is about 45 minutes away from me, and one of my favorite things to do is drive here in the fall when all of the foliage is in full peak viewing. I like watching the sun come up here. And there's lots of cool places to pull off and view different things.

I know it's only April, but I'm starting to really long for Autumn! I can feel it deep down in my bones! Have a great Tuesday!

I’m going to say B. When it’s Autumn, I like it to feel like it. Even though I’m a summer fan going apple picking in 85 degrees just doesn’t feel right and a huge part of autumn is the feel as you all know. What about you? Turkey friends enjoy your day today. Have a great Cold April!​
 
Honestly, I think with the weather we are having right now, I answer "A" . It's supposed to be Spring here, but right now we are battling some of the coldest temps we have had since early Winter. It's 24 degrees right now and yesterday we had snow showers to begin the morning!

I can handle the odd "hot" day during Autumn here and there, but for so many weeks people were tired of the brutal cold weather, myself included! Let's get back to Spring weather hopefully soon!
 
Unfortunately, we get a lot of B down here, and while it does agitate me, I'm pretty much used to it. So I'm going to say C. Warm winter days are the weirdest. When it's winter, let it be winter. I want to be hibernating, not wondering how much longer until I have to start mowing.

And you'll never hear me complain about option D.
