Yum!
The saying is you can pick your friends but not your family!Same here, Edge - I'm going to choose "Sibling". I am very close with my sister still, she lives just one town away about 10 mins from here. I have kind of fallen out of touch with my brother because he lives farther away (about 2 hours), but recently we started talking again when The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was re-released two weeks ago. It was just like old times, as we poured thousands of hours into that game. He might be coming up to visit this weekend so that will give us a chance to talk some more. I'll be honest - I have no one to blame but myself for letting us get sort of "estranged". He moved away right at the time that I got married and life got busy. But growing up he was my best friend until I was in my 20's!
Have a great day!
Yeah don't rush us to August!I feel the same way @Edge612! May is already flying by...for work we have to enter some items into a database and our follow up times are 3 months out and yesterday I could not believe I put in August!!
Crazy...I def want summer to slow a bit!
Man, I love A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. The Peanuts holiday specials are kind of like my security blanket every year -- they are a constant, and I know I'm going to get the Feels when I watch them. I'm sad that they don't air on cable TV anymore, but I have them on Blu-ray disc, and for the ones that I'm missing I always just snag a one-month free trial to Apple TV.DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 202
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 176
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 115
Happy Mother’s TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 202 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 176 days left until November, and 115 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will arrive on Sunday (Mother’s Day) with the 200-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!
When did A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving premiere?
Answer: 1973Before I was born but Charlie Brown, I grew up on because of my uncle who grew up with “peanuts”. And he taught me well about Charlie Brown and all the characters. Ironically, I always say this, but I think the Halloween and Christmas ones are great yet somehow some people forget how fun the Thanksgiving one is. And that’s the first of the trilogy I remember watching on a regular basis as a kid. And there aren’t many Thanksgivings shows we think about when we think about Thanksgiving so that’s ironic. Turkey friends the best to you today. I hope you enjoy your day as we approach a special weekend. Have a great Mother’s TGIF!
