DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 204
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 178
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 117

Happy Week Into May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 204 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 178 days left until November, and 117 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving in 4 days. It will be the 200-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

Who’s your favorite family member (excluding mom)?

  • Spouse
  • Sibling
  • Child
  • Other – Aunt, Uncle, Cousin etc.
  • I’m going with B. I’m close to my sister. Never got married or had kids so that doesn’t apply. I do have other family members I am close to but I’m sticking with A. Of course, Mother’s Day is approaching on Sunday. That’s going to be a big one for sure. I hope everyone is well. Gobble Gobble. Have a great Week Into May!

Same here, Edge - I'm going to choose "Sibling". I am very close with my sister still, she lives just one town away about 10 mins from here. I have kind of fallen out of touch with my brother because he lives farther away (about 2 hours), but recently we started talking again when The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was re-released two weeks ago. It was just like old times, as we poured thousands of hours into that game. He might be coming up to visit this weekend so that will give us a chance to talk some more. I'll be honest - I have no one to blame but myself for letting us get sort of "estranged". He moved away right at the time that I got married and life got busy. But growing up he was my best friend until I was in my 20's!

Have a great day!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 203
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 177
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 116

Happy Magnificent May! Today folks we move along and see that we have 203 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 177 days left until November and 116 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving on Sunday with the 200-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’ll be another big one folks. It’s Thursday friends so let’s do our normal Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

I’m feeling different about Thanksgiving lately. Don’t worry, I’m not losing my love for it. It’s increasing if anything. But the way I feel different about it happens around this time of year. As we approach the halfway marker it really started to hit me. Yes, Thanksgiving was a long time ago but to think we’re almost halfway back there soon feels hard to believe.

I’m already feeling like time is going too quickly this spring. I’m not quite ready for summer or anything anytime soon but I am kind of ready to start thinking about taking my shorts out soon. Usually around this time of year I make the big turn…sooner rather than later. Gobble Gobble my friends. Have a great Magnificent May!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 202
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 176
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 115

Happy Mother’s TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 202 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 176 days left until November, and 115 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will arrive on Sunday (Mother’s Day) with the 200-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

  • When did A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving premiere?
    Answer: 1973
Before I was born but Charlie Brown, I grew up on because of my uncle who grew up with “peanuts”. And he taught me well about Charlie Brown and all the characters. Ironically, I always say this, but I think the Halloween and Christmas ones are great yet somehow some people forget how fun the Thanksgiving one is. And that’s the first of the trilogy I remember watching on a regular basis as a kid. And there aren’t many Thanksgivings shows we think about when we think about Thanksgiving so that’s ironic. Turkey friends the best to you today. I hope you enjoy your day as we approach a special weekend. Have a great Mother’s TGIF!

Man, I love A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. The Peanuts holiday specials are kind of like my security blanket every year -- they are a constant, and I know I'm going to get the Feels when I watch them. I'm sad that they don't air on cable TV anymore, but I have them on Blu-ray disc, and for the ones that I'm missing I always just snag a one-month free trial to Apple TV.

Sorry for my absence from this thread (and all of the threads except the hang out) this week. My love for Thanksgiving hasn't diminished in the slightest; it's just been one of those weeks where I finish my morning routine late, and then I've got to get to work. Finally, this morning I'm back on my usual schedule!
