Spouse Sibling Child Other – Aunt, Uncle, Cousin etc. I’m going with B. I’m close to my sister. Never got married or had kids so that doesn’t apply. I do have other family members I am close to but I’m sticking with A. Of course, Mother’s Day is approaching on Sunday. That’s going to be a big one for sure. I hope everyone is well. Gobble Gobble. me, too!So ready for that seal to be broken. I miss Thanksgiving.
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving was my dad's favorite, I so miss it being on broadcast television. The Peanuts holiday specials were about the only time I got to pick what we watched on tv (youngest of 6 kids) and as everyone else grew up and moved out the special were already a tradition. I have them all on DVD (and VHS) but it just isn't the same, it isn't the occasion it used to be.DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 202
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 176
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 115
Happy Mother’s TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 202 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 176 days left until November, and 115 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will arrive on Sunday (Mother’s Day) with the 200-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!
When did A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving premiere?
Answer: 1973Before I was born but Charlie Brown, I grew up on because of my uncle who grew up with “peanuts”. And he taught me well about Charlie Brown and all the characters. Ironically, I always say this, but I think the Halloween and Christmas ones are great yet somehow some people forget how fun the Thanksgiving one is. And that’s the first of the trilogy I remember watching on a regular basis as a kid. And there aren’t many Thanksgivings shows we think about when we think about Thanksgiving so that’s ironic. Turkey friends the best to you today. I hope you enjoy your day as we approach a special weekend. Have a great Mother’s TGIF!
I feel the same about it not being broadcast. I loved the anticipation and the hustle and bustle of getting in front of the tv by 7:00 pm so I didn't miss a minute!Man, I love A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. The Peanuts holiday specials are kind of like my security blanket every year -- they are a constant, and I know I'm going to get the Feels when I watch them. I'm sad that they don't air on cable TV anymore, but I have them on Blu-ray disc, and for the ones that I'm missing I always just snag a one-month free trial to Apple TV.
It hit 80 here yesterday! It definitely felt summer-ish!It was 87 here today--makes me feel like we have left spring and are hurtling toward mid-summer.
Very warm here today and next weekend looks even warmer/more humid. I'm taking the plunge and washing my shorts and making the turn to summer clothing this week!It hit 80 here yesterday! It definitely felt summer-ish!
I wish it were still broadcast over the air. That would be so nostalgic.I feel the same about it not being broadcast. I loved the anticipation and the hustle and bustle of getting in front of the tv by 7:00 pm so I didn't miss a minute!
