Yup southern areas definitely will answer earlier than northern areas since our "heat" really doesn't get kicked in till June!

Happy July Finale! Today folks we move along and see that we have 119 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 93 days left until November and 32 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving tomorrow. It will be when August Arrives. It will begin the final Non-Bers month of the year. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
The one sense we use during Thanksgiving is our sense of smell. You smell that turkey and all the good food. But we also use our sense of taste. Yum that turkey tastes good. I’m not sure which sense I enjoy using more on Thanksgiving but they both are heightened on Thanksgiving Day.
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their week so far. It’s been a busy week which I knew it would be here. But mostly a good week. The heat and humidity are gone (for now). It’s cooling off a lot, which is nice and I hope we get some nicer weather here in the 2nd half of the week. Turkey friends the best to you all here on this Thursday. Ahh Sesame Street (my childhood). I was always into cookie monster and the count, but Big Bird is a major staple of Sesame Street (along with Ernie, Bert, Elmo and others). But I enjoyed that show and it’s good to know that Big Bird is part turkey (or kind of). Gobble Gobble turkey friends I hope your week is going well and here on this Friday we are in a new month. It’s a very special month. And maybe the most overlooked month of the year. Take the opportunity to really enjoy this month knowing what’s ahead but also realizing we are in a great spot right now. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone not arriving for 17 days. Long time from now but you can tell in the above counts that it will be the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. Talk about a big milestone my friends. I hope you are all here for it. But today it is Saturday and time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. We are at the weekend now and solidly trying to enjoy our quieter time of the week. It will be a quiet weekend here, which is nice. Busy ones behind me and a few busy ones ahead possible but this weekend is more about being around home base which is a base I enjoy being around as often as I can. Turkey friends I hope your week went well and that your weekend goes even better as we move here into the very early stages of August. A full 30 days of it to enjoy, which I hope you all get the most out of this month. I was thinking the other day how August is the most overlooked month of the year. Maybe the most underrated too. It feels like September out there right now. However long this lasts, I'm good. I know it's probably "Fool's Fall", but it is a welcome break from the horrible hot weather we had up to this point. For now I don't see anymore 90's in the extended forecast, so my hope is that we slide right into THE BERS without having a horrible heatwave again.

We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in 2 weeks + 2 days. It will be the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. My friends it’s Sunday so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. Enjoy it. We have a very quiet Sunday here for a change after a couple of city trip Sundays back to back with the Sunday Group. Just going to brunch today and back for a little coffee and to preview our upcoming schedule (which includes some partial planning for the upcoming autumn season). Exciting stuff. Turkey friends I hope your weekend is going well so far. It’s been a laid-back one here which has been really nice. Don’t get me wrong I do love going and doing fun stuff. Staying busy is a good thing sometimes but having time to just chill out is always a nice treat for sure. The best to you on this Sunday my friends. I've been enjoying getting all of my mowing and chores done during the weeknights after work, so I've been able to just do fun things and tinker on the weekends. Of course going forward it will start getting more difficult because by the end of this month the sun is actually setting at 7:40 PM. So that usually gives me enough time to usually get one section of the yard mowed before it gets too dark.
