I'm with @Edge612 . The day of is always best for me, because all of the family is here. Of course, a turkey pot pie is pretty good later, too. ;)

Sorry, I missed the big day yesterday. Here's a little catch-up.
Happy day-after Tom Turkey Day!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 124
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 98
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 37

Happy Final Weekend Of July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 124 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 98 days left until November and 37 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving when August Arrives in 6 days. But that’s not till the end of next week. We’re here in our current weekend in our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2 and definitely I’m a fan of Saturdays as you know. A little errands, food shopping, laundry, yard work, relaxation, reading, fun and games. Sounds like a perfect Saturday to me. I hope you all are enjoying the start to your weekend and that your week went as well as it possibly could. It was very hot and humid yesterday here. A true Summer Sweatfest day. Appropriate here for the later stages of July. Turkey friends hopefully it won’t be so hot on Thanksgiving except from the oven being open when you keep taking the turkey in and out. That warms up the house on a chilly late autumn day. That’s the hope I think. Turkey friends the best to you this weekend. I hope that you are all doing well and keeping your turkey spirit alive all weekend long. Check back in when you can for the counts as we continue through the weekend. Have a great Final Weekend Of July!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 123
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 97
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 36

Happy Juicy July! Today folks we move along and see that our counts look as follows: 123 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 97 days left until November and 36 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday. That will be the day the month of August begins. Yes, the final Non-Bers month of the year begins on Friday. It’s Sunday folks so time for the second half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And it should be a good one I hope for all of you to enjoy. Turkey friends I hope you have a fun day today. I’m heading off to the city for the second Sunday in a row which is kind of rare but it’s summer time and we’re trying to do some fun stuff in the city while it’s warm (and hot) as opposed to freezing cold. I hope everyone is enjoying their day today. And I hope your weather is ok. It should be pretty humid here and very warm. But the real heat may pick up once again as we head into the brand-new week ahead. For now, we simply focus on today and enjoying the current day at hand. I hope that everyone gets to enjoy their day today and all the good things that happen in it. Enjoy this Sunday and have fun with family/friends and of course our pets. Have a great Juicy July!

These final couple of days of July might feel like the dog days of Summer if we get that mini heatwave. From Tomorrow through Wednesday, we have a few days that might hit 90 degrees, but then the temps go off a cliff starting the end of the week. Upper 70's and low 80's. A few nights get down into the 50's!! I'll probably sleep with the windows open those nights lol.

Have a great day!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 122
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 96
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 35

Happy Late July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 122 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 96 days left until November and 35 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Friday when the month of August Arrives. It’s Monday friends so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. Guess what it stands at today? It stands at 17 weeks friends. We basically have completed 2/3 of the journey back to Thanksgiving and now have the final 1/3 to go. And what a ride it will be through the 2nd half of summer and right into the majority of The Bers and Autumn. Turkey friends I hope your week gets off to a great start. We have another heatwave starting up here. It’s going to be very hot here the next several days. Fortunately, the a/c here has been holding up and I’m thankful for that. And for a change I’m working all week. I’m not used to that this summer. I wish everyone the best here on this Monday and I hope your week gets off to a great start. Of course, you will need some turkey thoughts this week to keep you cool with the summer heat still going strong here in the heart of summer. Gobble Gobble to you my friends. Have a great Late July!

We ate turkey for dinner last night! I always think of Thanksgiving when there is turkey anything!

I'm ready for August to get here and our temps to come down. "September Weather" is predicted for the weekend, and it will be a welcome presence. The summer hasn't felt "long", but the humidity has made most things miserable. I'm ready for nicer days so that I can enjoy being outside more!

Have a great day!

I roasted a turkey breast for dinner yesterday. Was going to smoke it but we have off/on showers and storms yesterday.
