DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 127
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 101
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 40

Happy Summer Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 127 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 101 days left until November and 40 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next 2 milestones arriving tomorrow (Thursday). They will be the 100-Day Marker till November and Tom Turkey Day #8. Today is Wednesday so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

What have you enjoyed so far, the most this summer?

  • The weather
  • Summer Celebrations (graduations, bbqs, fireworks, etc.)
  • Vacations
  • Beach, Park, Baseball Game, etc. trips
  • Tough one but because of the constant humidity I’m going to say B. I’ve really enjoyed the bbq/fireworks this summer. 4th of July reall reminded me how (and why) it is my favorite Non-Bers day of the year. It feels like it’s been summer for a long time now, but I think that’s because everyone thinks of it starting around Memorial Day. But technically it’s just over a month old so we’re not even halfway through “tradition summer.” Funny how we all do overlap in our way the seasons. Have a great Summer Mid-Week!

Think I'm going to go with "B". It was nice to have a 3 day weekend for July 4th. Every holiday is special but I think those ones where you get extra time away from work feel differently.

Have a great mid-week!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 126
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 100
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 39

Happy Latter July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 126 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 100 days left until November and 39 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestones arriving today. 2 of them for the price of 1. We have reached the 100-Day Marker till November and Tom Turkey Day #8. Pretty amazing. Our next milestone will be when we reach the month of August Arriving. Yes, that will be when we reach the final month of the Non-Bers. Can you believe that? But for now, folks, we still have over a week (and more) of July to enjoy. Let’s just ride it our nice and slow here on this Thanksgiving Thought Thursday with our below thoughts today!

July is not really a month I think about Thanksgiving much. Ironically, my thoughts in May turn in June towards summer and then ironically in June they turn to July and 4th of July. My Non-Bers obsession. And then my thoughts turn to Halloween and Autumn. That’s where my thoughts are now. They are not on Thanksgiving as much. It’s weird how we have different specific times of year where we think about specific times more than others isn’t it?

Turkey friends let me know when you think about Thanksgiving the most. And I hope you are all enjoying your day today. Have a great Latter July!

Happy Tom Turkey Day!!

I don't know why but May has always been a month I've thought about Thanksgiving a lot. I think it is from when a few years ago we started doing a "Halfsgiving / Friendsgiving" in May to celebrate being halfway back.

And I didn't get to do one this year because we had just gotten home from the hospital. So that is on my mind, probably won't get to have one before the actual Thanksgiving, but I have no excuses for next year!

Have a great day!

I agree with @SolidSnake84. I think about Thanksgiving the most right around the halfway mark and especially close to the re-opening of “the road” in May. But once June hits my thoughts veer off into mostly surviving hurricane season and the impending heat. Then in July I’m inundated by Halloween and Fall Preseason thoughts. My Thanksgiving feels only return when I visit this thread and then, of course, in November itself.

May for me too!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 125
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 99
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 38

Happy Final Week Of July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 125 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 99 days left until November and 38 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving on Friday. I mean next Friday of course. It will be the Arrival of August. It will be a big day, my friends. But today is a big day as well. It’s Fun Fact Friday so let’s look below for our Fun Fact!

80% of Americans prefer Thanksgiving leftovers to Thanksgiving dinner.

Hmm now this one is a tough one. I do think sometimes leftovers taste even better reheated but still the fact you’re eating the originals on the actual day itself makes it still better for me. What do you think? I think for me I have to include the day with the food. I can’t separate the two. But yes, the leftovers are delicious. I still would have to pick the original meal because it falls on my favorite day of the year. Turkey friends the best to you today on this Friday. I hope your week is going well and continues to go well going forward. Gobble Gobble my friends this Friday. Enjoy it and the weekend ahead. Have a great Final Week Of July!
