Ha - all are great choices but i think "C" is where its at right now. It's still hot and humid here, although not as bad as earlier in the month, but it's still pretty rough out there. I can't wait until we start cooling down! Even a few degrees would make a big difference! Have a great day!

Happy 2nd Half Of July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 133 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 107 days left until November and 46 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in 1 week. It will be the 100-Day Marker till November. Turkey friends it is Thursday so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

My thoughts have turned to the upcoming autumn season but mostly towards the Halloween Season specifically. I think that is because most of the activities I do in autumn are more closely related to Halloween Season than to Thanksgiving. Still, we all know what sits at the very end of the autumn road: Thanksgiving.

There is nothing quite like Thanksgiving Day. It doesn’t have a season as Autumn and Halloween do yet it’s kind of the ultimate end of the Autumn Season which enters us into the most wonderful time of year, the holiday season. No wonder we love Thanksgiving so much. It is the true crossroads. Turkey friends the best to you today on this Thursday. Think turkey thoughts all day long if you can. I feel like that’s the natural choice. Then Christmas season would start immediately following Thanksgiving.

The funny thing is that Halloween season would be the longest season of the Big 3. Or maybe it already is. Haven’t really thought about that before.

I knew that there was a lot of glitter but over 300 pounds of it. I always wonder how do they clean up that mess so fast? I wonder how many people have cleaned it up. That might be an even more interesting question or fun fact on a Friday in the future. Turkey friends I hope your week is going well and that you are enjoying your day. The technical start of Spooky/Halloween Season is what, September 22nd? That's a full 5+ weeks of being "in season".

Christmas Season at MMC begins on November 13th? That's 6 weeks from then until Christmas Day on 12/25, and however many days after folks keep up decorations and what not. Our decorations usually come down mid January, so for me that's about 2 1/2 months of having up outside lights and decorations.

But if I think of when I start putting out Fall / Halloween decorations, that usually starts in mid August, that's also about 2 1/2 months of being decorated for Fall/Halloween.

My favorite part of all of this is that I am in the final weeks of not having any decorations / lights outside for the rest of the year. Fall decorations go out here in a few more weeks, and "Halloween Lights" go out in September. Thanks to Halloween and Christmas, we will have lights in some form, for the rest of the year!

Happy July Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 131 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 105 days left until November and 44 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the 100-Day marker till November. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest this Saturday to start off the first half of our Quiet Weekend Period. Indeed, the weekend is here so it’s time to kick back and relax (but also have fun and do your laundry ha). Turkey friends I hope your week is going well and that you are enjoying the start to your precious weekend. The best to you. And I hope you get everything you want to out of this weekend. A busy weekend here but it should be mostly good stuff. I wonder if I can count laundry in the “good stuff” part of the weekend. I think so. Why not? It must get done and I don’t mind doing it. • It’s a real mixture for me but I’m going to go with D. I think having time off in the summer beats any other time of the year (except for the holiday season). For whatever reason it just feels right more than winter, spring or autumn to me. What about you? Have a great Middle Day Of July!​

Happy July Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 130 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 104 days left until November and 43 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in 4 days when we reach the 100-Day Marker till November. Ironically it will also fall on Tom Turkey Day #8. It will be a doubleheader milestone day. Wow. It’s Sunday folks so time for the second half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I’m heading to the city so it won’t be too quiet for me but a fun afternoon is in store. And then I’ll be home by early evening to just chill out and relax. Plus I am off Monday so that adds to my relaxation mindset on a Sunday evening. Turkey friends I hope your weekend is going well so far and that you are enjoying everything going on today. I hope you have some fun plans but relaxing ones also. And I hope you got all your chores done for the weekend or will accomplish them today.
