We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone set to arrive on Friday with the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!
What did you think of the Superbowl?
A.) It was a great game.
B.) It was a boring game.
C.) I didn’t watch the game.
D.) It was just an ok game.
I am going to go with B. I thought the game was boring. But the food was good. And that made it up to me. I was glad Seattle won. But the game itself was kind of boring to watch. That’s how I felt about it. Next year it falls on President’s Day Weekend and I’m already planning it off. Too soon? Have a great Winter Mid-Week!

Happy Dozen Days Of February! Today folks we move along and see that we have 287 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 262 days left until November and 201 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving tomorrow. It will be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. Guess what? It stands at 41 weeks. Wow. How’d that happen? Suddenly next week is HUGE in this thread on Thursday. And the Thursday after even HUGER. Is HUGER a word? Bigger maybe sounds a little better but you get the idea. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well on this Thursday. It’s been quite a week here but I’m ready for a 4-day break from work. I’m taking off Friday through Monday, and I need it because work has been in overdrive since the year started. And I’ll try to really reflect on this holiday season we had and look ahead to spring and all the things to come in our future. There are so many amazing things as spring training baseball is starting up and even though we are still in the depths of winter there will be some small signs soon of spring. One of them that’s already noticeable is it’s just a little lighter out in the evenings now, which is nice. Have a great Dozen Days Of February!

All day long I kept thinking it was Friday, even on my drive home it felt like the weekend was starting. I am going to try to keep the momentum going and do some extras chores tonight and prep enough for tomorrow that it isn't miserable. I have heard of people who feel like the weekend starts on Thursday night, maybe I can be one of them.

Yum. Cookies and Cakes but I just went to my doctor for a checkup and told him I’d try to cut out sweets and bread a little bit at least. But hey it’s the holiday season so everyone can splurge a little bit more, right? Even doctors I’m sure know it’s the holidays and it’s time to enjoy it when they come. Turkey friends that’s a lot of money spent on sweets. Do you enjoy your sweets on Thanksgiving and the rest of the year? I hope so. I hope you enjoy your Friday as well. $87 million? That's quite a chunk of change, but I can see it. Unfortunately for me, those prepackaged desserts are often loaded to the brim with sugar and carbs, and ever since my type 2 diagnosis, I've been treading very lightly in those areas. So probably no no-bake Jell-O cheesecakes in my future, but maybe I'll try to figure out how to make a keto version of a pumpkin pie.

I was at the doctors once and he told me to cut back on my dip. I told him it wasnt happening and he needed to pick up the pace. I go to leave and he is outside smoking with some nurses..lol
TGIF folks!! Just got a 429 line bored and I am calling it a day. Waiting on turkey cheeseburgers for lunch today.
Was reminiscing about Thanksgiving some today. I think while we did the best we could, I think everyone in my family would say that last year was one of our down years, maybe the worst ever with my BIL just barely getting out of the hospital in time for turkey day, which was greatly reduced due to the circumstances. Christmas was the same way, but I did the best I could here with my little wee family.
Incredible motivation I think for 2026, it really has been driving me through winter! My Christmas shopping fund is doing well and I enjoy contributing to it each week.
