DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 22

Happy November Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 22 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone set to arrive in a dozen days when we reach the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

How has your autumn weather been so far?

A.) Mild/Warm overall.
B.) About average.
C.) Below average.
D.) I don’t know why you don’t ask a meteorologist?

I’m going with A. Although we have had plenty of cooler (and chilly) mornings, the afternoons seem to consistently go above normal. And they say it’s a normal “Super El Nino” Pattern to keep us warm well through the autumn and potentially into part of winter as well. . We’ll see. Have a great November Mid-Week!

I would say "A"! We had a short snap of cold weather back in October, but now it has warmed up again. It might hit 80 degrees today! I'm looking at the long range forecast through November, and our days don't really get colder than 60 degrees. Right now, Thanksgiving day looks to be in the 50's. That's kind of on the warm side, to me.

But on the plus side, the longer it stays warm in November, the shorter of a heating season we have. Especially if it only gets cold over night. I'm almost done buying pellets for this season, and being cold only at night / overnight means the bags last twice as long. We had around 20 bags leftover last year. We might have that much, or more, this year if these temps continue!

Have a great day!

My vote is A, and I think it's going to win in a landslide. Oops, sorry for the election talk.

The average first frost in our area comes in the last ten days of October. So far it's been rare for us to even dip into the 40s. There's more of the same in the 10-day forecast; a little cooler, but just to the upper 30s. Good for the gas bill, but not doing much for the holiday spirit.

I like that election reference clever!

A.....but I don't like cloudy skies and the ocean has provided too much wind. For some reason, my electric bill is pretty low. Say what you will about spending money on a good A/C and hurricane Cat 5 windows, but my cost of heating/cooling has never been over $190 a month since I moved beachside in 2016.
