Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Yes definitely great to connect with people who countdown to these great days like I do.I'm glad you poked your head back in here. Your thoughts and feelings are the same as ours. It's so nice to be able to share with like minded folks.

DAYS TILL THE BERS: 263
Happy Dozen Days of December! Yeah we're 12 days into the month of December. And look at our counts moving ahead slowly but steadily. We have 348 days till Thanksgiving, 324 days till November and 263 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is in 9 days time as we will reach the arrival of winter (the 1st of 3 seasons back to Autumn). Going to be a fun ride but we may see some snow before winter ever really hits here based on the current forecast. We will see though. I've got Christmas plans this weekend folks but you all know here I will always keep a Thanksgiving Thought in my heart and soul just like all of you do all year long. Thank you for being here in this thread. Just remember Thanksgiving brought us the Christmas Season. No wonder we love that day and call it the best day of the year here. Have a great Dozen Days of December!

Morning all! Looks like today is going to be a miserable day weather wise so its going to be a Christmas movie binge marathon and sort out the Christmas cookies that need made.
We have about two inches of snow and a sweet neighbor was out and did my walks and driveway before I was even out of the shower this morning. She said she loves to shovel. Go figure. I don't mind shoveling, but I am Thanksgiving grateful for the act of service.
That's one way to make a miserable weather day still a good day CW!

Happy December Teens! Let's take a look at our 3 counts this morning. We have 347 days till Thanksgiving. We have 323 days to go until November. We have 262 days remaining until The Bers. I mean yeah we're still in The Bers technically but you all know this time of year it's kind of like 100% focused around Christmas...except in this thread. We still focus on turkey, stuffing, biscuits, cranberry sauce and more. All the stuff we love the most. Our next milestone will be 1 week from tomorrow which will be the arrival of winter (1st of 3 seasons) and that will begin our journey back to Autumn. What an Autumn it's been. Ok so it's Sunday which means everyone here needs to relax! We'll worry about the week tomorrow. And of course, with our new tradition here Mondays are better now because we will give you the weekly count to the best week of the year...and let me tell you it's a major turn in the numbers folks. Plus on Thursday this week we'll have a bi-weekly poll as we do every other Thursday. Have a great December Teens!

You know what @Edge612 , I think this is the first Monday that I've actually been here to see the Monday / week count. And let me tell you, it is AWESOME. I might even include it in the Halloween countdown, if you don't mind. I just think all of the different ways that we count down, and the special milestone days that we include, really helps move the time along and keep it fun during the "long" slogs.

Happy 10 Days Till Christmas! Does that sound amazing? No, we don't do the Christmas Countdown here but that is such a huge # and it's really indicating we're in the home stretch to Christmas. Thankfully, we have a lot more time than that till OUR time(s) of year. They are the following statistically: 345 days till Thanksgiving, 321 days till November, and 260 days till The Bers. Well we are now under 1 week until our next milestone which is the arrival of winter. That will be a big one in 6 days but we are less than that until an impending potential snowstorm. We may get hit with a significant snow before winter ever arrives officially. That might be a good time to light up the oven and cook a turkey. Tempting isn't it? Have a great 10 Days Till Christmas!
