Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Memorial Day weekend will be special for so many reasons. Of course we've got everything you just mentioned, but you know, and I think we have talked about this before on here, but Memorial Day is the 1st Holiday many people have had off work since New Year's Day. We know that we are headed down the final 100 day road to The Bers by then, but Memorial Day sort of begins having days off again, as we start to get ready to have the run of holidays - Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) just about every other month by then we are having a day off. Considering also that many people take a few days off the week of Thanksgiving! All of this is coming up soon!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 168
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 107

Happy 2nd Half Of May! Yeah we're into the 2nd half now of this great and wonderful month. Summer warmth is on its way this week here in the northeast. We could see 80s. But luckily our counts aren't down that low to the 80s. We have 192 days to go until Thanksgiving, 168 days to go until November, and 107 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone is 1 week away. Can you tell what it is in 7 days from now? Yes it will be Monday like it is today but it will also be the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers. That will be such a big one folks and on that same day we'll reach the Halfway to Thanksgiving Week Marker. Speaking of that let's get to the Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving (the best week of the year) now since it's Monday. We have 27 weeks to go until Thanksgiving week. Ok, yes indeed we are almost halfway now. WOW! I remember when we started counting down in the 50s folks. And now we're almost halfway there. Let's hope the 2nd half goes slower than the 1st half has. Have a great 2nd Half Of May!​
 
@Edge612 I just plugged your fantastic Bers Thread and Thanksgiving Thread over in the Halloween thread, because I am really starting to get excited. I know we all are. Next Monday is going to be a HUGE day on here!
 
27 weeks! That halfway point is getting very close. :)
 
Happy Monday! I am excited that we are so close to the halfway point. 27 weeks is great but 26 will be even better. Makes me look forward to Monday!

Happy Marvelous May! It is Marvelous to be in this month of May isn't it? It's one of my favorite months of the year. But my favorite months? They're still in front of us and in these countdowns. We have 191 days till Thanksgiving, 167 days till November, and 106 days till The Bers. Our next milestone will happen in 6 days on Monday which we have been hyping here for the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers PLUS the Halfway to Thanksgiving Week Marker. That's right. That's a bonus that second one. It has become our weekly traditional fun despite the fact we don't look at the weeks count as milestones. We love using it to help our Mondays be more exciting and better. And it should be fun having it around for us next Monday to have such a big marker. I look forward to it and I know all of you do as well. But first we must really enjoy this week. No need to rush to next week. That will be beyond our weekend already. Have a great Marvelous May!​

Agreed! Thanks, Edge! I like Mondays just a little more than I used to.

I can't think of any better way to celebrate 100 days til the Bers than with a Halfsgiving dinner! Likewise, I can't think of any better way to celebrate Halfsgiving than with a 100 days til the Bers dinner! As the youths say, this Monday is going to get "turnt"!

(Do they still say "turnt"?)

I totally agree! It isn't about rushing through, it is about having something to look forward too!
