Good Morning Halloween Friends! There's snow on the pumpkin today! We've got about 6 inches out there right now. The storm is out of here for the most part mid-morning. I think our final totals will be somewhere between 7 and 8 inches. They are saying that there is freezing rain and sleet behind it this evening. I'm going out there to open up the driveway and sweep off the cars at 8:00AM when it is a little lighter.
Our next milestone day will be in ONE WEEK from today when we hit 200 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON!
I hope everyone has a great Monday, it sure will make this week go by fast with us being off today and possibly on a delay tomorrow!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Work is closed a second day today, we got some more snow overnight and this morning it is really windy. I've never been off work two days in a row because of snow ever in my working career.
Still very full counts here in early early January. And I'm lucky, I haven't "really" had any blasts of PCB's or PFHB's, just a ping here and there. Most of what is keeping it away is the fact that the lights are still up outside, and we have our big tree in here. I am within two weeks (or less depending on weather) of all that coming down, and I'm sure that is not going to be a happy affair. It never is.
I saw a meme online the other day, and I think even Edge mentioned it too, but Januarys really are unique in the sense that you are doing more resting than anything else. That's how I feel about Fall & Christmas right now. They are resting and charging up. We are going to get another little dose of them at the end of the month. I know I will be glad to see the MMC special days this month!

When the kids were little we would go in Mihaels craft store near Halloween and they would have a Halloween set up in an aisle. Our DS loved checking it out, but our DD was to scared by it. Now many years later our DS can do without some of the scarier parts of Halloween while our DD full embraces everything Halloween/scary related well except for Clowns. She hates clowns.

I have a couple of freestanding pieces from Lemax - I've always wanted to make a whole Halloween village like we used to do with Christmas. That's kind of hard now with a little pair of grabby hands and a second little pair on the way in less than 5 months!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Mid week now and headed towards another January weekend. What will the energy be like today heading back to work after missing the last two days? It might feel more like a Monday.
Wednesdays might be a good time to check our compass so to speak and see what we have coming up. I think the rest of this week we have basically a lull, but starting next week we start hitting milestone days across all the threads and we don't look back. This might just be the ticket to powering through the rest of January.

I need that… “powering through January.” And looking at that countdown list is my daily dose of happiness, particularly when it comes to any Spooky Spring milestones.
Liking the looks of that January 20th. At my age a hundred days goes by in about three days.
Evening Halloween Fans! Another cold and windy January day here. At least we had the sunshine out again. I also notice (very subtly) when I leave work it's staying light out just a little bit later. Around 5PM and it's still slightly light out now. Happy Halloween!

The first Dark Arts Sunday is a little over two weeks away, we will have Tom Turkey Day #2, and Rudolph Day #1 before then. I am so ready. And JOL Day #1 is now just over three weeks away.
Our next milestone will be on Monday when we reach 200 DAYS TO FALL PRE-SEASON! After that, we will see another count enter into the 100's. That's wild. There are no more 300 level counts. It still feels strange in January to already be out of 300 level counts.

Dark Arts Sunday! Yes! I’ve been excited for this, especially after seeing the Wizarding World in Universal Orlando last year. It’s time for some Harry Potter!
Sometimes I wonder if JK Rowling is secretly a Bers fan. The whole mythos fits in so well with the second half of the year.
