Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday! I always get enjoyment posting the weeks count on a Friday because it makes me remember that this year, we've got a true "Halloweekend" coming up. Halloween is always special, but it just seems like it is extra special when it comes on a Friday!
I hope everyone enjoys their Friday. We have some snow coming tonight. January here has been pretty busy as far as cold weather and snow storms go. Farther out predictions show another storm next weekend.

Reminder to check your local theater listings. The ones in our area are constantly showing the Harry Potter movies. Our Cinemark is showing a bunch of them in February. Just in case you need that theater fix.

Honestly, if I had a group of people to go with me, such as this fine group of folks here in the Halloween thread, and it was a marathon, I’d seriously pay to do that. As it stands, I own all of the movies already on Blu-ray, so I can’t justify going to see them in the theater a la carte.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! It did snow again late last night, it gave us about 1.5 inches and was enough to cover the cars and the driveway again. I opened up the driveway this morning at about 7:30 AM when it got daylight. I just realized that I've already used my snowblower 3 times already. Normally in a "regular" winter that's about the number of times we do it the whole season! More snow on the way maybe next weekend and rumors about a big, multi-day snow event to close out the month.
We move along in Halloween counts, now UNDER three weeks to go to JOL Day #1, and three weeks from tomorrow will be my first Dark Arts Sunday of 2025. I am excited now that we have broken into single digits on the way down to the 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN milestone, which is now only 9 days away.
We will begin the new week with the 200 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON milestone, coming our way on Monday!

That's right folks. I think this is a big one. One week from today we will see 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. And this Fall Pre-Season count dips into the 100's tomorrow. Our next milestone after today will be 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON, coming our way on Wednesday!
There was a slowdown, but I think now that we are back to hitting milestones again, January is picking up steam. I'm okay with leaving the long, dark, and bitter cold part of the winter and moving into something closer to "The Month of Hope".
I personally hope this week moves by at a fair pace, because I have a 3 day weekend coming up!

Oh, my heart. 200 days to Fall Pre-Season! And if you think about it, even less time until we begin seeing Fall and Halloween items return to store shelves. Like everyone else has said, I really needed that milestone. I’m thankful for all of the others that are fast approaching as well.
Loving the count to Fall Pre-season (AKA "Halloween Awareness Month" as I call it).
I also may have gone overboard on my Halfoween preparations. Box of Boo Berry, Pumpkin Frosted Flakes, Pumpkin Mini Wheats, and a box of Pumpkin Pop-Tarts. Not to mention the three pumpkin beers I've stored away. And I wonder why my family thinks I'm insane with this stuff.
