I'm changing my answer to B. We go to the beach the most in July, and there is that QUIET little holiday at the beginning of the month as well. July is a great summer month!

I think of September as a mixture of summer and autumn kind of like March is a mixture of winter and spring which they both technically are!

Thanksgiving is that one day of the year where it feels like a 24-hour routine almost. People say the word “routine” like it’s a bad word but it’s not. I like most of my routines. And Thanksgiving just makes you feel like you should be living Groundhog Day all over again.
Thanksgiving always feels the same yet that’s what makes it feel special. The Parade, Football, Family, Food and Fun. That is what Thanksgiving really is for many of us. The traditions are the same and we all love them. Some of us have very similar traditions too, which is nice as opposed to other holidays where they vary. Oh yeah! We love our Thanksgiving routine! Curious to see what, if anything, will change this year now that we have two little ones, but even if it does change, that just means we have a new routine!

The last few years we've had Thanksgiving at our house instead of Mama's. We've been trying to find a way to accommodate our older kids and our older parents and extended family so we can be with everyone. It's different, and I'm not 100% sure Mama likes it, but she's being a good sport about it.
Change is hard. And we don't like it.
I don't like that our kids can't come home for the holidays any longer. It's too far and their work schedules don't allow them enough time off. Hopefully, that will change as their careers advance.
You will make the most of it I am sure!
I love our Thanksgiving routines. Not just for the day, but the entire week too. I don’t like when there are changes, but change is inevitable.

Why is it called a turkey? Oh boy, this will take some explainin’. Back in the day, the Europeans took a liking to the guinea fowls imported to the continent. Since the birds were imported by Turkish merchants, the English called them turkeys. Later, when the Spaniards came to America, they found a bird that tasted like those guinea fowls. When they were sent to Europe, the English called these birds “turkeys” as well.

Happy August Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 110 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 84 days left until November and 23 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in 10 days. That won’t be this weekend nor all of next week so we have plenty of time to chill out here on milestones. It’s Saturday folks so time for our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. Will it be quiet? Not bad here. I got a lot of the stuff I do on Saturdays done ahead with more time off this week. But I'm going to visit my friend and his kids. I’ll bring Damian and also we’ll go the park. I have a few things to do around the house but trying to just chill out on Saturday with Sunday being a long day (Going to the Yankees Pre-Game Tour and Game). But it’s been a good few days off here and I’m enjoying it. Turkey friends I hope you are really enjoying your Saturday. I wish all of you the best here on this start to the weekend. August feels like a long month but in a great way. The anticipation builds through the month. But anyone rushing the time or wishing the summer away think again because as I always say the faster the summer goes the faster The Bers will go. But we are here planning in Fall Pre-Season our Fall Schedule with the Sunday Group. It’s going to be longer and better than ever (8 weekends…we started out doing 4 and have grown ever since). Not sure how much farther we can stretch it. Have a great August Weekend!

These cool mornings and cool nights, along with football on the TV, really makes it easy to feel like it's fall. And I love how the anticipation builds with each day we get further into August! We're almost back!
The mornings seem better for sure but the afternoons here are starting to heat up again!

It’s a Summer Sunday so why worry about something well over a week from now? I’m not. Plenty of summer left to enjoy. Although, I think I’ve been enjoying it more this week because the weather has been fantastic. But now we start heating up. And we’re in store for a hot and humid week ahead. Maybe not quite as hot and humid as July was but we’re definitely going to give our a/c a workout this coming week. Today I’m heading to the Yankees game so I’ll wave to you. But I hope you enjoy your day and no matter what your plans are just have some fun. Or maybe relaxing sounds fun right about now. Turkey friends I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. Ok...so I'm late to the party.
My favorite month of the three has to be June. Where I am...the heat, humidity, and mosquitoes haven't shown up, yet. Now, July 4th is one of my favorite days of the year....and I eagerly await the Preview....but June is so slow and relaxing for me.
