I'm changing my answer to B. We go to the beach the most in July, and there is that QUIET little holiday at the beginning of the month as well. July is a great summer month!

I think of September as a mixture of summer and autumn kind of like March is a mixture of winter and spring which they both technically are!

Happy Week Into August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 112 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 86 days left until November and 25 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving in a dozen days. It will be the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. That will be impressive for sure. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
Thanksgiving is that one day of the year where it feels like a 24-hour routine almost. People say the word “routine” like it’s a bad word but it’s not. I like most of my routines. And Thanksgiving just makes you feel like you should be living Groundhog Day all over again.
Thanksgiving always feels the same yet that’s what makes it feel special. The Parade, Football, Family, Food and Fun. That is what Thanksgiving really is for many of us. The traditions are the same and we all love them. Some of us have very similar traditions too, which is nice as opposed to other holidays where they vary. I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far and has a great day today on this Thursday. Have a great Week Into August!

Oh yeah! We love our Thanksgiving routine! Curious to see what, if anything, will change this year now that we have two little ones, but even if it does change, that just means we have a new routine!

The last few years we've had Thanksgiving at our house instead of Mama's. We've been trying to find a way to accommodate our older kids and our older parents and extended family so we can be with everyone. It's different, and I'm not 100% sure Mama likes it, but she's being a good sport about it.
Change is hard. And we don't like it.
I don't like that our kids can't come home for the holidays any longer. It's too far and their work schedules don't allow them enough time off. Hopefully, that will change as their careers advance.
You will make the most of it I am sure!
I love our Thanksgiving routines. Not just for the day, but the entire week too. I don’t like when there are changes, but change is inevitable.

Talking turkey
Why is it called a turkey? Oh boy, this will take some explainin’. Back in the day, the Europeans took a liking to the guinea fowls imported to the continent. Since the birds were imported by Turkish merchants, the English called them turkeys. Later, when the Spaniards came to America, they found a bird that tasted like those guinea fowls. When they were sent to Europe, the English called these birds “turkeys” as well.
