Nine months old! That does not seem possible, weren't we just keeping an eye on the weekly count until Baby #2 was going to arrive?
Looking back on the 2025 Halloween Thread, I believe the first day that I mentioned to anybody that we were expecting #2 was on December 28th, 2024, and Holly had been pregnant for roughly 3 months by that point:
The first day that I added the Baby #2 count was on December 31st, 2024
On January 22nd, 2025, I was already posting about needing volunteers to keep the counts going, 4 months in advance lol. (It was starting to get to me)
And on January 23rd, we asked for thoughts and prayers on the complete anatomy scan - this was truly a harrowing day (everything ended up being fine!)
On February 13th, 2025, we had exactly 13 weeks to go, and mentioned that Holly would start going to the doctor every two weeks once she hit thirty weeks:
We hit 100 days to go on February 18th, 2025. This was when we were still working with what we thought would be the due date of May 29th, 2025.
I didn't post for a little while about the baby until March 11th. I was happy the count was finally under 100 days and for the first time felt like time was moving again:
On April 1st, I was celebrating the arrival of Spooky Spring but also wishing that I could "wish away" the time because I wanted it over. I was under heavy anxiety / strain during this point with still almost two full months to go:
We were six weeks to go on April 8th!!
Finally had the finish line in sight - 30 days to go as of April 29th:
May 8th, 2025 - Three weeks to go!
May 13th - 2025 - We got moved up by one week after we had the growth scan
And we were off to the races on May 22nd:
Thanks for going down memory lane with me! Believe it or not, I look through the old threads a few times a year to relieve my memories of having Abby and Jason. Looking back in hindsight, the anxiety was always present and I could tell how it was getting to me more and more as I plodded grimly forward towards our due dates.
This was fun!
