Hello Halloween Fans! I think the nicest weather months we have in my area are May and September. The weather these last 2 days reminds me of those 2 months. I know it's going away for a bit but it's nice to know we have plenty of warm days ahead of us. Happy Halloween!

Easter candy has been out here for a while now. Almost as early as Valentine’s Day. Will we see Halloween candy on shelves starting in July? Here’s hoping.

I couldn't decide which image I wanted to use today, so I posted both.

Today is indeed just 50 days until we observe Halfway to Halloween here in this thread.

I was thinking of the countdowns earlier this morning, and our halfway point to Halloween is really kind of the "last" milestone that we celebrate before things start picking up greatly as we make our push towards the second half of the year. When Spooky Spring is over, we are in May and everyone knows what happens in May, mainly "The Road" finally being open and everyone on this thread knows how quick that last 90 days goes.

So my wish to everyone today, and really every day, is that it's ok to look to the future, but even I myself have had to remind myself to not try and plow through these milestones or chase the countdowns too hard because there are times when It feels like it's really all moving too fast.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well on this Wednesday. I almost typed Tuesday. We hit 80 degrees on Tuesday. It was insane. We're slowly heading downward back to normal but normal is going to be 50 degrees soon or higher which I will take. Happy Halloween!

It's a cool rainy day today. There might even be some SNOW mixed in with the rain, despite it being 83 degrees yesterday. Today is an outlier it would seem, and we get back to our warm ways starting tomorrow and over the weekend.

Our next official milestone will be on Monday, when we ring in 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER. I will admit to you all that I am not ready to see an October count down in the 100's next week! Especially considering that beginning on Tuesday, there will be only ONE count remaining that is still north of 200 days!!

Our grocery store normally starts their Halloween aisle and candy displays in July. Pumpkin Spice usually starts popping up around the same time.

Happy Friday the 13th, Pumpkin People! I had some fun above making the poster for today. We've done Friday the 13th two months in a row, and we won't have a Friday the 13th again until NOVEMBER. It's been a blast having a "cheat day" two months in a row.

We still have a full weekend in front of us before reaching the 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone, which will be here Monday. I said it before in a joking way, but in a semi-serious tone, I am honestly not ready. We'll only have ONE count that is in 200 day territory beginning on Tuesday. I just don't want it all going too fast. But I'm glad all of you are here to count it down along with me.

Moving right along in our counts now you can see that our next milestone is going to be on MONDAY when we indeed reach 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER. That one is a scary count to me because starting on Tuesday there will be only ONE count left that is still north of 200 Days. Here in Mid-March I still have to re-orient myself with these counts because some of them seem like they are going fast. But like I always say, "the numbers don't lie".

I definitely needed to be reminded that this is still winter and that it is just to be expected. I think the drastic temperature changes has been a big part of my struggle with March
