Well here we are.
The start of a new month and we are edging closer to Nov and the start of the season and in the great white north, we have a long weekend to look foward to for Turkey day.

By then, it's almost mid month.

Can't wait!!

Fall colors are in their prime. Next thing you know, it will be Halloween and Nov.

Wow!

Time sure flies by.

My dh went to Walmart last night and they had alot of toys on sale for $10.00 each so he picked up quite a few for the kids so we are halfway done getting things for our 3 kids.

I used to do that all the time when my kids where small. They got to be real good at finding my hiding places too. So one year I hid the gifts under their beds and they never found even one! cheesy

Quick update. My uncle is doing better. They are going to put stents in tomorrow and that'll give him 80% better flowage. He had trouble breathing yesterday but it's because the doctors got him all worked up. I'll let you know if anything changes. Thanks for all your support!

Good afternoon......Today is my daughter's birthday. Having a family party tonight and a kids party on Sunday!

We miss placed a set of orange lights that we put up outside for fall and halloween. Went to 2 different walmarts to get another set and they do not have any fall/halloween outdoor lights, decorations or blow ups. I asked the lady working at one store about it and she said they did not order any for this year. I was completely dumbfounded as they had them last year and none this year. I wonder if they reduced their Christmas outdoor decorations this year too?

Do you have a Target nearby? Our Target had outdoor halloween lights for sale.

Hi everyone! I hope all of your Thursdays are going well. I just went to my interview. I have no idea how it went or what the guy thought of me. I'll hear back from them in 2 weeks. In the mean time, I'll be looking for other jobs too.

But for the rest of today, I'm just going to RELAX!!! It's been a long week of job hunting and I need a break before I start again tomorrow. Not to mention, my legs and feet hurt from wearing stupid pumps all day for several days in a row. They need to rest more than I do.

checking in again. It seems like I just joined the forums. That was back in the middle of summer and Christmas still seemed far away. As it is, I still feel like Christmas 2008 was not long ago. I remember everything as if it was just several weeks ago. Lately Christmas feels like it happens more than once a year...and that's a good thing. Christmas stuff goes up next month. WOW.
50 and rainy here in Wisconsin. 15-20 degrees colder and we'd be having a heck of a snowstorm. Won't be long now.
Heading to our big Oktoberfest celebration tonight. I won't forget my coat...temps in the 40s. Very refreshing.
