OK, OK, I'm up already! I woke up at 4am this morning, but refused to get out of my warm comphy bed. Now I know what woke me, it was you Binger!!

Wow.....isn't that odd....my eyes popped open at 5:00 on the dot! Wondered why in the world this kept happening! Now, I know. It's Binger sending messages through brain waves. He's waking all of us up.
SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION!! On the verge of heading out to work, but wanted to stop by and say hello. We are going to be right back into the swing of things with 3 ballgames in the next four nights (but we are preparing to wind the season down). I'm so so so glad basketball is on the verge of being over. At least I feel like I will get to be home at night.
SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION!! On the verge of heading out to work, but wanted to stop by and say hello. We are going to be right back into the swing of things with 3 ballgames in the next four nights (but we are preparing to wind the season down). I'm so so so glad basketball is on the verge of being over. At least I feel like I will get to be home at night.

And school is still out here for one more day owing to fear of icy roads (and fear of lawsuits!).

That's right! Down to only 9.
Continued cold with the ol' thermometer outside my back door reading 36 at this hour.
Lots of sun, though, should speed the snow melting. The roads outside my window look pretty good!
OK. Peak of the Week and Shispering Pines day!
No doubt Holiday will be joining me as usual. Carl will be on hand, of course, to welcome all comers with hot tea, fired twinkies and no doubt some strange, experimental coffee blend. (He said something about cranberry juice this time. GAD!)

This is so true! I am trying to make it a goal to put a stop to this and get together with those I have not seen in awhile, not wait until something bad happens. Seems that everyone is too busy to get together or our schedules are way off.
I do thank God that I see my immediately family all the time!

Nearly lunch time and I am starving! I brought my lunch but for some reason am definitely craving other food that is not a turkey and chicken sandwich. Still, I will have to let it satisfy me for now. I think I will make tacos tonight to satisfy my craving for beef. Sounds delicious to me!
This morning was relatively cold and snowy. About -12C with the flakes coming down fairly well. It looks quite nice, and felt all right since there was no wind. The snow should let up again tonight and we're forcasted to have plenty of sun in the next few days. Still cold, however! I can take it though as we've already passed the coldest month of the year and the days are getting longer!
Nice to see everyone is looking forward to the weekend. One more day of work for me... Oddly enough, my contract was up again at the end of this week, however, they are trying to extend it for another month. It will be busy, but I need the money, so I will have to deal. Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

once again, Kandice is very sick again.....a terrible cough again.....hope to get a rehab for her granted....either to the mountains or to the sea....to get her lungs relax again....I feel so sorry for my little one
My daughter used to get sick a lot when she was small. She was finally diagnosed with asthma at age 6.
Also discovered that we had to stop using a few things around the house, like fabric softener and perfume. She could not even be around a smoker at that time either (even if they did not smoke around her, the smell would cling to them and cause a reaction in her)
Changing her diet also helped (no dairy products)
She has out grown it all thankfully, but it was a rough go when she was small. The only time she has a problem now is when she gets a cold and then the cough tends to hang on for a long time.
Praying your little ones gets better quickly and you discover what the cause of it all is.
I hope she get well real soon!

Tomorrow I'll leave for Moscow to get my first J1 visa in the USA Embassy...Before getting it I'll have there an interview...I'm a little bit nervous about it and the way take 24 (!) hours...I hope everything is gonna be OK...wish me luck)))))

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!
I've been hard at work today, and have barely had a chance to read up on last night's posts. I've been trying to help my mom remodel her kitchen, even though I couldn't hit a nail two time out of ten with a hammer. I took the counter tops to the local cabinet guy so he could cut them for me. My dad would've handled it himself, but I sadly didn't inherit his carpentry skills.
