Good morming Christmas friends! I slept like a freakin rock last night. I guess working all day got me tired out. I have just rolled out of bed and have not had breakfast yet,I am going out for breakfast and I will pass my local gas station on the way. I noticed on the news last night that national ave is $3.33 a gallon. I always though the southeast was below the average so I am surprised that ours is 3.40 right now. Anyways I am going to a different church than mine this morning, a good buddy of mine is getting baptised in a baptist church, and he asked all if us to go. Since I have never been(I'm catholic) I am looking forward to going and expierancing something new. I always like the music at church, the hyms and the singing, and I have been to alot of different churches and faiths, but not baptist. I hope everyone has a great morning..oh the weather I almost forgot! it is a cool but comfy 48F outside and very foggy.not looking forward to the 85F today, that is way too warm for late feb. And we are also in the last 2 days of the month,I hope march brings us more rain and wind. The year is moving right along quickly!Have a good day everyone!!

Can't help but notice the gas prices go up when the weather starts getting nice and people start to drive more, going on vacations and stuff. And they wonder why everybody thinks they are price gouging.

Oh and I am looking forward to hurricane season. Not that I want one to hit the US or anywhere else but i plot them during the season on a map. I find those fascinating. Yep I am a weather geek!.lol:)
I am facinated with tornados but NEVER want to see anyone hurt or lose property. If I see them on film in an open field, I find it very cool!

anyone ever had omelets that you cook in the ziplock baggies? I'm going to try those in the morning...anyone know what I'm talking about?

Gnight all!
I use to make those all the time! I would prepare them the night before. It is so cool, you just add in all the ingredients you want, mix them up and then the next day is so easy! Just pop it in some boiling water.

Good morning!

Omelets are done! I mean, like, gone in my belly done. That's the best way for an omelet to be! Wifey isn't up yet, so she can have hers when she gets up....

Sunday is my favorite time of the week....very relaxing....quite....and seeing as how the 25th was Friday, I'm watching some Christmas shows...

This afternoon, I'm going to play outside and do a little yardwork. They are calling for storms later this afternoon, so I better get out there and enjoy it!

Good Morning, Christmas Comrades.
Rise, shine and......well, you know the routine.

Calm, sunny and beautiful outside here at this hour where we stand at a nice, light-jacket-walkable 57 degrees.
Last day for the sun however, and we are in for 2 days of rain starting tonight, according to the weather service.

On with the count, which just goes on and on and......
Days to the Season: 259
Days to Christmas Day: 301
TOMORROW, guys! The 300-day Milestone!!
(Goodness, Toto! Milestones come and go so quickly around here!)

Well, Folks. I hope you have a Rousing (or Restful, depending on your preference) Rest of the Weekend.
And a Super Sunday, to boot!

I agree!! I was thinking the same thing when they rose so quickly last week. Every spring they go up,i Don't know for sure but it does make you wonder why in Jamuary when people stop traveling they usually go down then in spring and summer they go up..:-?

When the did the omelets, they turned out pretty darn good. It was fun when we went camping.

Evening all! Man, it sure was a pretty day here! Worked outside for three or four hours and got our garage all cleaned out. The wife and I went to eat and bought some groceries so I can make her favorite meal.

Hangin out watching movies....we had to pick between The Rock and Days of Thunder....

The Rock It Is!

Good night....see everyone in the morning for coffee...anyone ever had omelets that you cook in the ziplock baggies? I'm going to try those in the morning...anyone know what I'm talking about?

Gnight all!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny and cold here in northern California. Tomorrow we have snow in the forecast, but as I've said before, I'll believe it when I see it. But I can still hope. It's Knights of Columbus day at church today, so hubby and I will go this morning to Mass. Normally we go on Saturday nights. We will have a brunch afterwards. Hope y'all have a great day.

Uh...yeah...remember, it's all that research I've been doing!!! Yeah, right, all that research. I am not old; just research!!!

Let's call it "research from primary sources" ... ;-)

Mr. says there was also a Boston Blackie TV series ... I hadn't heard of that. Only knew about the book/stories and the 1940s B-movie series with Chester Morris. And George E. Stone, one of our favorite character actors.

Uh oh, better stock up on bread, eggs, and milk, Seawaters!!! :)

Judesmama is right, Seawaters---you guys don't know the drill out in California! When snow is forecast, you have to mob the grocery stores, especially for milk!

Hope you get your snow ... :snowball:

Good Sunday mornng, my Christmas friends!

If feel bad, we missed church this morning. We were out late last night, then the kids were up late last night, and we just couldn't get it together this morning. We try not to miss if we are in town on the weeend. Oh, well.

We took my father-in-law out for his 74 birthday last night. His favorite restaurant is a seafood place in Savannah, gabulldawg may know it, called Carey Hilliard's. Anyway, we took almost the whole clan. All six of his children went, with their husbands, wives and children. I think we had 31 at the table. Almost everyone came!

It was a lot of fun, then we went to a new yogurt place, and it was packed. We stood in line for 20 minutes for yogurt! It was pretty good, though. They had lots of flavor to choose from, then lots of toppings. At the end of the line they weight your cup and charge 45 cents per oz. Youch! It was $12 for three cups of yogurt! LOL

We're getting ready to head out to my mom's for Sunday lunch. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Snakes have come out of hibernation!!! almost stepped on one in the garage. It was only an oak snake but to me they look like rattlesnakes at first glance..I have been told how to tell the difference between poisonous and non-piosonous but honestly when I almost step on one and it slithers away who has the time to see if its head is a certain shape or if it's long or short or fat!!??. last year I saw 3 rattlesnakes and a slew of oak snakes. oak snakes are also known to be bad for getting in your house..yep spring is here for sure!:) everyone have a great rest of the day..it is beautiful here today and already a warm 79F!

Yes tornadoes are amazing to look at. but they really do scare me. tornadoes are much more confined than hurricanes, and whatever they hit head on is basically destroyed depending on the size and strength. there is no way I would want to be a tornado chaser because they are so unpredictable on where they will go. I have lived through 3 hurricanes and although you can't "see" them like tornado's they are amazing to see on radar. When people die in hurricanes it's most likely from drowning in the storm surge a hurricane produces that is why it is so important to evacuate!! living down here that is all we hear from June to November!
