Good afternoon, Christmas family

It is a gray day here in Ohio and chilly which fits with Good Friday. My mother taught me that it is hardly ever sunny on Good Friday because of the day it is and at least here in Ohio she has been right nearly every year !!

I am so utterly exhausted today. I wanted to attend Good Friday services but I am not going to be able to as I am simply worn out.
Once again, a promise broken. I bet when I post there are groans....."Oh no, is she posting AGAIN about God ....." I don't blame you..........I am sorry to be a drag if I am one. If for no other reason, I talk about such things as a personal way to for honor Him and not to cause controversy or to be a zealot of sorts....

It's true! Most Good Friday's are dreary days in Ohio! Fitting! Today was no different!

If I don't get back on here this weekend, I wish you all a very Blessed Easter!

Don't talk down about yourself, what you care about makes you, you. I and probably most everybody here wouldn't have it any other way. We all have our things we like to talk about, we try to show others our sides that is hard to see through typed words, I like sports, mainly hockey, binger-coffee, CAH-her training for the running, etc... (sorry if I didn't give an example for all) cheesy Don't worry about it this is a CHRISTmas site after all, without that we wouldn't have the secular or religious side of either one.

I ran a mile and a half this morning around the school then came home and cleaned up the front room.

WOW! Good for you! I ran 1/2 mile this morning & wasn't sure if I was going to make it! Lol! I'm trying to work some running into my walking... I just don't love to run! Wish I did! I'm doing a "Bunny Run/Walk" 5k tomorrow morning! Hopefully the weather holds out! NO MORE RAIN! (until we need it...lol)

I am so looking forward to getting my hair all done tomorrow. It actually takes about 20 years off !!

I just got finished watching The Passion of The Christ. My emotions are completely raw right now and I am not sure what to do with them. I also Love Jesus of Nazareth but I made a promise that since I did not attend services today that I would watch Passion of The Christ.......A very violent and extremely sad depiction of Jesus' last days but the last scene is PRICELESS.........I guess I picked it because it is in Aramaic, at least the words of Jesus are........I get really passionate about this every Easter and by Summer I am back to my same old inconsiderate ways.........I think the song from Jesus Christ Superstar sums it up best for me..........."I Don't Know How To Love Him....." Because I surely dont....

Man, cleaned house, cleaned up the truck (kinda), and ran 2.5 miles.

Let us know how the 5k goes. I plan to do one in May. The most I have ran so far is 2 miles so I have some more training to do.

Will do! We did a Patty's Day 5k - I had my hubby pushing me in that one & I finished in 34:16 minutes. Hubby won't be there to push me tomorrow but I would really like to beat that time. The friend I'm doing it with is strictly a walker, so we'll see how it goes. I'm planning to "wog" it!

Wow they are talking about people stuck in planes at the St Louis airport and there is so much debris that the rescue workers can't get to them. It sounds like alot of damage in Missouri and Illinois. No serious injuries have been reported though thankfully.

It looks like the worst storms are going to stay down south in Kentucky. Indiana and Ohio are just going to get some heavy rain.

Good morning!

Dreary out this morning and I have to get out and about in it soon. Still groggy from last night's sleep. This morning I have switched from powdered coffee creamer to Half and half in my coffee - figured it would be healthier in the long run. I even measured out the amount for one serving. All I can say is it's going to take some getting used to!

Have been doing BalleCore for over a month now and the benefits are showing up I was able to hop in the truck (while holding a 20 pound + box of groceries, I might add) without using the hand rest for added help. Yay!

I agree... everyone here is different ... different views...different likes.... but all have a strong love for Christmas. That is what makes this site so great.... It's an extended family...... It would be rather boring if everyone posted about the same things dont you think? Post what you think...feel...it's all good.....

Good Morning everyone!!!!! Well the rain did not hold off long enough yesterday so my plants are still sitting on the deck. Raining here now... oh well .... it's still a good day to dye Easter eggs... while hubby is helping the kids with the eggs I will be making a pumpkin pie and an upside down pineapple cake for tomorrow.

Waiting for the repairman, then off to the office for the day. :-? Gray, chilly, and raw weather here, but no tornadoes or wind like some places have been cursed with. If I have a lot of waiting time at the office, I'll check in here.
