Good morning everyone! I have my car out warming up witht he heat on!! it is 23F and heavy frost,this is just cruel and unusal punishment to get up this early and go to work...how do any of you up north and especially Canada do it???maybe it is a good thing I live in the deep south.lol I am hopefully going to have a good monday and be off of course to travel to court tomorrow so I will have a 4 day work week. But speaking of Milestones, just when is the next one - number 3 on our list?

We'll get to that momentarily.

OK.
Our next marker. The first one of the second quarter.
(That's right, we are now in the SECOND quarter of our count!)
It can be told from the count itself. It's the 300-day mark to Christmas Day!
TWO weeks from the day after tomorrow.
Which coincides with this year's leap day!
WOW!

Cold once again here this morning but not quite as cold as yesterday.
We currently stand at 26 degrees here in the capital city with a nice little warming trend pending.
None too soon from my viewpoint.

Good morning MMC!!! Wanted to check in, let you know I do miss you all. We went on one of the most beautiful hikes EVER. We did the 1776 trail up on Bear Mountain, in New York. What a trail, I could see the signs of Spring peaking about. The trees are forming their buds, getting ready to create the most beautiful time of the year in the forest.

I hope you are all doing well and all your framily as well.

Took our son to his first day at his new job, he starts his training today. Hopefully the start of a long and prosperous career.

I miss having a kitty. But there's a cat in the neighborhood (I don't even know if it's male or female---we just call "him" Cat) who comes to visit. Sometimes he's there when I get home from work or when I get the mail out of the mailbox. I always go outside and pet him and listen to him purr. He's got a good home somewhere in the neighborhood, because he's fat and has shiny fur. I got a little bag of crunchy kitty treats so I can give him a little treat when he visits.

We have 7 stray cats that hang out at my house and my neighbors. I love visiting with them everyday. We had them all fixed and got all their shots. My neighbor and I keep them fed. I have 2 cats of my own as well that stay inside. It would be nice to see if these cats could all get a permanent home someday. My parents did adopt one of them.

I must have SAD (winter depression) or something, I've been so blue some days without much reason.

Sorry to hear. I hope you start feeling better soon!

I'm filming a flash mob and then working a wedding show. The flash mob should be fun.

I love that show that Howie Mandel does. I think it's called Mobbed? I only seen it a couple of times but it's entertaining.

Okay, Miss Priss!!! Get to a doctor!!! You cannot affort to let this go on. Trust me. Get better, please!!!

Last night he played piano and we sang and had the best time!

It's time to put the band back together!!

It's so beautiful outside, I think I'll take Harlowe for a car ride in the mountains.

I wish I lived near the mountains! We have to travel very far to come anywhere close to them.

Just when I thought I was starting to feel better, I discovered I had an ear infection.

You poor thing. I hope you feel better soon!

I have an early day tomorrow I leave around 530 in the morning,and its getting very close to Court on Tuesday.

on a lighter note... i don't want to jinx it.... but what a wonderful year so far! as some of you may know i had a terrible year last year, 3 of my closest family members died suddenly and my mother in law was diagnosed with cancer. (she's ok now though, thankfully) but 2012 is just full of positivity. i've lost quite a bit of weight, i'm looking and feeling well, my career is heading in the right direction (thank goodness, it's about time) i'm about to put an offer in for a beautiful home and my wonderful family are healthy and well, especially my gorgeous daughter.

I am glad life is getting better for you!

My in-laws go by the rule "What happens at Grammy's, stays at Grammys." It drives me nuts, but what can we do it's free babysitting, of course we bought them a few things for taking care of them.

Don't worry about the, "What happens at Grammy's stays at Grammys". As long as they know what the rules are at home then it should be okay. I know my kids got by with a few things at grandmas that they didn't get by with at home. I just told them the rules are different at home and they finally got it! =) Hopefully the same will be with your kids.

Chance for snow today and tomorrow, but I'm not going to get my hopes built up. It sure would be nice to have a snow day.

I hope we can get a real snow too!

I went to work yesterday and felt terrible all day. As most of you know I work with animals. I have this awful cold and being around multiple animals really got me sneezing. My boss let someone else take over to clean up cages and kept me out of the pet shop. I work the counter and do office work too. He saw I was feeling rough and let me sit in the office for awhile to do some computer work.

I got home to a wonderful surprise of flowers and a Beatles CD as SIT mentioned to you all. He is so sweet! That really cheered me up!

I am still dealing with the cold but I think I will be okay.

As SIT mentioned my son started his first day at his new job right in the middle of Downtown Dallas in a skyrise building. He has to dress in business clothes. I never thought I would see the day that he would not be wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He was excited!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy with snow headed are way. They are saying we will get an inch or two so we'll probably end up getting a dusting. I feel like I'm so far behind on here. I've tried to keep up with the countdown but I haven't been able to keep up with the rest of the site. Hopefully I can get caught up sometime this week. I have a lot of running to do today though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've haven't had any snow days here yet and that has led some districts to give their kids a couple of 3 day weekends to use up the extra days built into the schedule.

I had a terrible evening last night. Just when I thought I was starting to feel better, I discovered I had an ear infection.

At the start of the night, I felt like my ear was starting to fill up with fluid, then I couldn't hear anyone, then it got very painful. I went and saw the ER doctor about 5:30 because I knew I could never wait until Monday to see my family doctor. Sure enough, I had an ear infection, probably from this sinus infection I've had for over a week. He put me on an antibiotic now.

Actually it's business casual, slacks, button up shirt and dress shoes but that is still dressed up for him. He said he really likes it! =)

Good morning MMC family,

Just a quick hello to wish everyone a merryl Monday. Today is going to be rather busy but I'm excited for tonight. My girlfriend and I are going out to celebrate Valentines day so we don't have to deal with the crowds tomorrow. We'll still go to a romantic movie tomorrow but hopefully at an off time. I hope you all have a great day!

The weather man got it right. We had a couple of inches of snow Saturday night, just like was forecast. Temp was 16 when I left for work this morning and the forecast is for another inch or so of snow tonight. Sad to say the forecast also calls for a return of the warmer weather starting Wed with highs in the lower 50s.

Thanks for the prayers and kind thoughts for my mom. She visits the doctor tomorrow and should be having a biopsy and PEP scan soon.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to drive Nancy's bent-up car to nearby Statesboro to the reapir shop. The driver's window won't roll up, I had to tape a trash bag in the window. It was 17° F when I left this morning! But the wind on the trash bag made it FLAP FLAP FLAP so loud, I was almost bonkers after 30 minutes of that. My mom picked me up, then Nancy called, wanted me to go by WalMart while I was in Statesboro...grrr. I'm finally back at work!

We're supposed to go to the mountains this weekend, so hopefully they'll have our car ready by then.
