I forgot I watched that too, even tho like brent I have seen some before it just makes me laugh. Over here it was on right after the tree lighting
 
Home from work, dinner is done and soon we leave for the gingerbread house competition.
It is starting to look more like Christmas in here. Rearranged the living room, got rid of that old couch and it really opened up the room. Now to go hunting for a couple of chairs to go in here.

My Penny is bringing socks up from the laundry room again, I do not understand her wanting to carry socks all the time, silly cat.
 
Brent, I watched SNL too last night. My favorite part was, Duets with Michael Buble. I got a good laugh at that one!!!

Christmasstar, Good news!!! I found my mouse to the Advent Calendar!!! It was safe in another box. I was one of those "weird" kids who bought Christmas decorations with my allowance. That Advent Calendar was one that I bought when I was a teenager in an Avon book. I hung it up every year at home, then when I moved away for my kids to enjoy and now my grandchildren enjoy it! :D
 
Hi all, been a while since I've been around!

Nothing much has really been going on and I've still been depressed over a few things, so it still hasn't really sunk in yet that it's the Christmas season. It doesn't help that hubs has been sick this entire week, so no decorations have been put up yet. And even though I've bought cards, stickers and stamps, none of my Christmas cards have been filled out. Soooo...yeah. I wish I could get out of this funk but I just can't.

I'm sorry I've missed a lot of things around here, but congrats to DAWG on your new son, and I hope all of my fellow Americans had a nice Thanksgiving. If there's one thing I'm thankful for, it's that I didn't have to go work retail on Black Friday! I didn't even leave my house that day...I got up at 11am and it felt GREAT!

Hope you all are well and I will try to be around a little more often. *hugs* to all!

I just love when I wake up in the morning and Wayne already has all the lights turned on our Christmas tree on and the rest of the Christmas lights on in the house. It's like waking up to a Christmas Wonderland. He has done this for me every year if he wakes up before me, (I think he enjoys it too :wink:). I kind of have a "Griswold" look inside my house with all the strings of lights everywhere. Wayne is the one who set the tree up this year and decorated it, he did a great job!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Last night we worked on checking the bulbs for our pole lights that are going up down main street on Saturday. It felt Christmassy to do stuff like that.

Tonight is our company Christmas party. Since there are so many guys in the plant, we usually have a big dinner for them in the breakrom & the boss hands out their bonus checks. Then we have an office party at a restaurant later. This year, we are taking the whole plant and their families to a local bowling alley/game room/laser tag/batting cage/mini-golf place. It shoul be alot of fun!

Well, I gotta be honest...I haven't been around too much since Thanksgiving....a lot has been going on....hunting....watching Christmas movie with my wife...and basketball basketball basketball...I'm so far behind I am just going to spot read through....

Put the electric blanket on our bed last night...and fell asleep with it on high...woke up about two and was drenched....i was like sleeping in a puddle of sweet....so I turned it off and turned the fan up...woke up two hours later freezing...so hopefully that gets worked out tonight....

Ballgame duty tomorrow night and back in the woods this weekend...so I will see yall hopefully before the ballgame tomorrow...

Off to catch up and watch last nights duck dynasty again...then maybe some Christmas shows....
