Brent, glad to hear the good news about your grandma! I will continue to pray for her. It's really great to hear some good news for a change

My mom's big doctor appointment is today. We are going to see if she has to change medications or not. Fingers crossed she doesn't have to!

It is pretty crummy out right now. It was raining this morning and now it is supposed to switch over to snow. I am hoping it doesn't get too bad because the appointment is this afternoon. The meteorologists around here are just really bad lately. On Saturday they said there was no snow in sight and we ended up with 3 inches in the afternoon lol!

Not much going on around here today other than that.

I will catch up after the appointment!

I feel like I am at work. We have those boxes of doggy treats that we open up at work and set them out to sale them by the pound. I also give every dog a treat out of those boxes that come in our store. I just love my job! The more dogs, and other animals that come in, the day I work the better my day gets! We had 3 dogs and 1 puppy come in on Sunday. They all got hugs and treats from me! Sometimes people bring their birds, cats even piglets and all other types of critters in! So fun!

Another crazy weather day here. Woke to hear it pouring rain. School buses cancelled, all country schools closed. It has stopped for now, but this is moving in later....

I just got a winter weather advisory alert on my phone for Thursday night through Friday night. 6-8 inches of snow with sleet and freezing rain. Yikes. Of course, I have a day full of appointments on Friday!! :/

Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County continued

Conditions will become favourable for the development of snow squalls off of Lake Huron beginning this evening and off Georgian Bay by Wednesday.

Rapidly accumulating snow, very poor visibilities in snow and blowing snow, and sudden changes in driving conditions are the primary hazards associated with snow squalls.

Local snowfall amounts of 15 cm per 12 hours, along with visibilities reduced to near zero, will be possible in the strongest snowsqualls.

Driving conditions are thus expected to become hazardous once the snow squalls develop.

We got 3 inches of snow with some freezing rain on top last night. Schools are out. Many of our school buses travel on narrow mountain roads and along the sides of mountains so they are pretty quick to call school off.

We live right off the highway, and I'm not that impressed with the city plowing, salting, and maintenance, etc. There aren't any guardrails on some of the off ramps, so I get nervous with them. I drive safe & slow, but you have the semi's & drivers that think they're invincible to worry about
