How is Maggie doing today?

Hi Snowflake!
Maggie is doing alright. She had a little cough attack this morning during our walk and I had to pick her up and carry her for a few minutes until it calmed down. The exerecise definitely aggravates her. We are going to take shorter walks and will not go if its too hot. She is sleeping peacefully next to me right now. Its so hard to see them uncomfortable. I hope she has a good night and I'm praying that the medicine will work.

Yes, it is. They are so loving & sweet. She sounds like such a trooper, though. And lucky to have such a caring Mom. Extra hugs & prayers for her tonight. Please keep us posted.

We have to take our cat to the vet this afternoon. She has been eating a lot and still "cries" for food. Also, she is not gaining any weight even with the extra food we have been giving her. She was diagnosed with a thyroid problem several years ago and was put on pills, so we shall see what is wrong this time--hopefully nothing serious! Keep us posted on Maggie.

She is in my thoughts.

Good evening!
As I said, I worked today. Had an interesting encounter with one couple. They informed me that they were never coming back again because a cashier stuck out her tongue at them. I said "one of our cashiers?!" Yes , the little dark one over there. I was shocked and told them that she would never do such a thing. (plus had a ring of prejudice to it since this lady is of Mexican decent) Well she did they said, just because we complained about having to pay for a cart! (you put in a coin and get it back when you return the cart, this is to insure the carts stay on the property) I told them again she would never do that but they were instant. So I offered to get the manager but they did not want to talk to her. They left saying again they would never come back here to shop. Of course they live an hour away so chances are they would never come here again anyway.
Talked to cashier that was accused of this vile act and her jaw hit the ground. Turns out this couple was complaining since the moment they walked through the door. No one was sad to hear they would not return.

Nice job standing up for your fellow employee.

I love my crockpot! I never made a whole chicken in it, sounds yummy.

The meat just falls of the bone, it is the only way I will cook a whole chicken now. I want to try a turkey breast that way sometime.

I don't know why I do this to myself, I am up way too late again. Game 4 is tomorrow night (tonight), and there always a chance that it could go long into the night with overtime.

I know what you mean about being tired. I took a FOUR-HOUR NAP yesterday!!! I have had a sore throat for a few days, so I guess that was the reason for the tiredness; plus we are working on packing things up to move stuff into the garage for our remodeling of the kitchen. House plans were submitted yesterday to the inspector. As soon as he gives the go-ahead, we will begin construction. Then I really will have something to be tired about. Did I tell you about the Myer's Cocktail, a micro-nutrient infusion? If you have time, check it out. Take care, Festive Spirit.

I hope youi are feeling better. It's frustrating when your are not well and have got so much to get through. Remodelling can be so stressfull but hoepfully it will all get done on time and smoothly .

I have not heard about Myer's cocktail, where can I find out more?

How are things with your son? Did he find somewhere?
