Good Thursday afternoon everyone! It's 34F here with light snow/fog just an awful day to be out driving home from work in 30 min!!! But other than that I love the snow ya know! We are getting our replenishment snow from the warm week where my grass in the backyard was showing through for the first time since late November. We are suppose to get around 10 to 15 inches through sunday night. I don't know if we will get that much but it is coming down! Other than that my decorations are finally down and I am trying to adjust to post Christmas still in late Jan! This year has been hard since the holidays were pretty good this year. I don't really follow Pro football so I don't really care too much about the super bowl but we will watch it at party I was invited too at work. I am counting down to college ball in the fall! I have a long way to go don't I!
I hope everyone is doing good I am going back and reading yalls posts a few days back,and it seems everyone is having bad weather too and the Flu bug is really going around! Hope everyone feels better soon talk to yall when I get home from work!

Good morning!
Just had the dogs outside, it is chilly out there. We are currently at 9 degrees but will have a high of 28.
My youngest stayed home from school today, said she isn't feeling well. I hope she isn't coming down with what her sister has. We'll see what happens. Not a lot planned for today. I may take a ride to the mall with my middle daughter. She has a party tomorrow night and needs a dress, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I hope she finds something quick, I don't feel like shopping today. I was up quite a bit with Maggie last night.
I also need to start working on a menu plan for next week. I swear I don't know what to cook anymore.

Good morning, Christmas friends~

It is snowing here right now, we were supposed to get 1-2 inches starting last night, but before I went to bed they changed it to 7-8 inches. We currently have less than an inch on the ground, we will see what happens I guess!! LOL. Hmmm...

Merry Afternoon all, how is your day so far? I just go back from picking my eldest up from school and now it's time to prepare dinner. I am undecided what to make today though!

It is freezing today, the temps have really dropped. I honestly don't know how you all are able to cope in the freezing temps most of you are having!!!
I am still a bit unwell but thankfully it is not getting any worse so I'm content with that.

Tomorrow is Friday as well as the last day of January! Goodness how time flies!!

Well my niece is gone and now I have to get some stuff done around here. I'm also trying to decide if I want to go to the grocery tonight. They are calling for snow turning to sleet, turning to rain, turning back to sleet, turning back to snow tomorrow through sunday. Then a major snow storm next tuesday into wednesday with estimates showing anywhere from 15 inches to 20 inches. So I know the stores are going to be crazy this weekend and I don't want to deal with that. I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!

After reading this post I am afraid to see what the forecast for here is. I really hope they are wrong and that you get a break!! Take care, made!

It is so frustrating. My daughter has a class this morning then she has to work an eight hour shift. It's hard to get better when there is no time to rest!

A Brrrrrrrrry morning everyone! Left the house this morning to got to work at 5:30am and it was a cold 5 degrees F outside. My oh my, I hit that cold leather seat and I felt like I was sitting on a block of ice....Yup, I was awake then....

Yes, it is Thursday, one more day!!! I'm hoping for a nice quiet day here at the office so I can get some things done. I'm right in the middle of laying out (designing) a complete plumbing system for this elementary school and then I have to start working 12-16 hour days starting next week so that I can work on another school during the day 6am-3pm and then go out in the field and start surveying a renovation project for McCormick Spice and Food company at their Innovation plant, in the evenings, 3-10pm; "busy, busy, busy..."!

Just checked our backdoor digital therometer and it reads 9.5 degrees, the lowest reading we've had so far this winter.

Ice and snow everywhere too will slow the warming this afternoon although it is predicted to be sunny with no further precip.

(Don't know about you but I just don't like winter once New Year's Day has passed!)



But on to a topic with a bit more warmth to it:
