I was told there is now a car that has cooled seats for summer. I need that one in this heat wave.

My car has that too. I turned it on by accident the other day and I wasn't happy about it, lol. It was already freezing outside.

Hope you are all having a great day! I've been trying to catch up, but I'm losing the battle!

Tonight we are having stitch 'n *itch at our house, so the girls are coming over! Jim will have to find something to do!! :lol: I'm hoping to get a lot done on the blanket for Charlie (my nieces new puppy)! I'm about 1/2 done & I would like to finish before Sunday! EEK!

Superbowl plans - we are going to the Legion in our town to watch. I'm making a Creamy Avocado Dip & these: (using the brown sugar instead of parmesan.) My sister made these & they were yummy!!! They are definately something I would have to make to bring somewhere b/c they would be trouble in my house!!!!!! :smile:

I'm in better shape today, except I got a headache about an hour ago. I think I have it under control, though. I emailed my supervisor that I'll be back to work tomorrow. Watching "The Sting" this afternoon.

Well my niece is gone and now I have to get some stuff done around here. I'm also trying to decide if I want to go to the grocery tonight. They are calling for snow turning to sleet, turning to rain, turning back to sleet, turning back to snow tomorrow through sunday. Then a major snow storm next tuesday into wednesday with estimates showing anywhere from 15 inches to 20 inches. So I know the stores are going to be crazy this weekend and I don't want to deal with that. I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!

Oh my goodness, you really can't catch a break. I would go food shopping if I were you.

Poor thing!

I went to visit her at work earlier, I brought her a hot cup of tea. She's miserable.

Good Thursday afternoon everyone! It's 34F here with light snow/fog just an awful day to be out driving home from work in 30 min!!! But other than that I love the snow ya know! We are getting our replenishment snow from the warm week where my grass in the backyard was showing through for the first time since late November. We are suppose to get around 10 to 15 inches through sunday night. I don't know if we will get that much but it is coming down! Other than that my decorations are finally down and I am trying to adjust to post Christmas still in late Jan! This year has been hard since the holidays were pretty good this year. I don't really follow Pro football so I don't really care too much about the super bowl but we will watch it at party I was invited too at work. I am counting down to college ball in the fall! I have a long way to go don't I!
I hope everyone is doing good I am going back and reading yalls posts a few days back,and it seems everyone is having bad weather too and the Flu bug is really going around! Hope everyone feels better soon talk to yall when I get home from work!

Wow! I did a double take when I saw this picture ~ Bella looks exactly like my cat Flopsy. Beautiful!

That's so funny! Flopsy is a cute name, I love it. I had another kitty that looked just like that too, but she passed away a couple of years ago. Her name was Sassy.

Thanks Sugar, I hope she gets a good night of sleep. She has classes in the morning and a long shift at work again tomorrow. But thankfully she has off Saturday.

They did do a strep culture, no one called this morning which means it was negative. But the doctor said it looked infected. My daughter is texting me from work right now. She wants to come home and go to bed!

Good morning!
Just had the dogs outside, it is chilly out there. We are currently at 9 degrees but will have a high of 28.
My youngest stayed home from school today, said she isn't feeling well. I hope she isn't coming down with what her sister has. We'll see what happens. Not a lot planned for today. I may take a ride to the mall with my middle daughter. She has a party tomorrow night and needs a dress, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I hope she finds something quick, I don't feel like shopping today. I was up quite a bit with Maggie last night.
I also need to start working on a menu plan for next week. I swear I don't know what to cook anymore.

Good morning, Christmas friends~

It is snowing here right now, we were supposed to get 1-2 inches starting last night, but before I went to bed they changed it to 7-8 inches. We currently have less than an inch on the ground, we will see what happens I guess!! LOL. Hmmm...

We don't follow football, so we'll have an ordinary Sunday. Sometimes on Super Bowl Sunday we'll watch a movie with football in it, or pull out some DVDs of historic Red Sox games. When we do that, we'll often broil hot dogs and heat up some baked beans and have a baseball afternoon. I like to check in on the Puppy Bowl. This year I want to catch some of the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel too.











Holy cow---I wish you guys would get a break with the awful weather soon. You've had more than your share. As always---keep warm, and stay safe.

I just remembered I have to shave my head when I get home. ugh that sucks bad I usually do it every 4 weeks or so but I always miss spots and get careless and make a bad mess. I might be a while longer before I log back in. Its been one of those days!!

Merry Afternoon all, how is your day so far? I just go back from picking my eldest up from school and now it's time to prepare dinner. I am undecided what to make today though!

It is freezing today, the temps have really dropped. I honestly don't know how you all are able to cope in the freezing temps most of you are having!!!
I am still a bit unwell but thankfully it is not getting any worse so I'm content with that.

Tomorrow is Friday as well as the last day of January! Goodness how time flies!!

By the end of this weekend, where I live at, I think it supposed get up to around 50 degrees in the daytime, but it will still be around freezing at night. I'm giving the fireplace a workout so far since I've been living there....
