The things we do. I had my daughter go outside today and ring the doorbell a few times so that Maggie would think someone was there. She got nervous and ate the pill pockets, lol. Ridiculous, but it worked.

Good evening everyone.
Guess what, I found another snake today outside the house. Yup, about startled the daylights out of me. I was outside trimming about six feet off of about 5 of my Leyland Cyprus trees out back and I had the branches scatted about all around the base of the trees. Just as I was getting the last few branches up off the lawn, I reached down and just as I grabbed the branch, it took off slithering right to the side of my left foot. I thought the thing was going to go up my pants leg.... I looked like I was tap dancing on a bed of hot coals trying to get away from it. I looked it up on the internet and it was an Eastern Garter Snake; harmless....
That's the 3rd snake I've found in the month of May...
Anyway, been busy all day, spent the first half of my day running errands and then the later half of the day, working outside and in the basement. Watching Miracle on TV right now CMT channel, love that movie....

Sometimes I'll just put the peanut butter on my finger until she gets curious enough about why I'm not expecting her to eat it, sometimes I sit like that for almost a half an hour. I do that when I can tell so give me a hard time.

Wow! Glad it was harmless!
I'm terrified of snakes. We had a guy a couple of towns over get bit by a rattler right in the center of town over the weekend. He didn't see it as he was walking into a store, stepped on it, and it got him. He's alright. All of the flooding has washed the snakes into town and they're thick this year! We live far enough into the city where they aren't in my neighborhood but the kids have seen several by the creek at school. Those have been harmless though.

I don't say it's not Halloween when she watches the Twilight movies, all the time. The acting is so scary in those movies it should be only for Halloween. cheesy
