What a busy day I had yesterday, and today looks like it'll be another one, so I thought I'd jump in early.
Last night, Nancy and I looked over our summer calendar for vacation possibilities, and it's not looking good. There seems to be plans upon plans throughout the next few months, then school (high school for Elizabeth, and COLLEGE?!? for Jacob) starts, with all the expected and unexpected financial burdens in tow. I might not be able to visit my beloved Smoky Mountains this summer.
BUT...maybe I can find the time to open the pool this weekend!

So sorry to hear things are looking tight for the summer BMac! I hope no matter what you need to do that you all are able to find a way to relax together and get away somehow! My husband and I are using a professional conference as our get away for the season. For tonight, I hope you can open up that pool and ENJOY!

Typical day for me, I have a few errands to run and lots of chores. I'm also meeting my mother for lunch. I'm heading out in a few minutes, I would like to get a few things done before I meet mom. I'll catch up here later.

Yep, just two and a half weeks away!
I will have to wait and see what Har's vet says, she is just finishing her second round of antibiotics today, and the symptoms haven't changed. I took in a sample this morning to have tested. Depending on what it shows, she may have to go in for more tests tomorrow.
Adi leaves for his biggest event that he puts on for the foundation tomorrow, so it will just be Har and I finishing up the packing. Gulp.
It will be interesting to see how she does during the weeks he's away, because right now she has to go out every two hours =[ Poor girl.
I'm asking friends and family for help, hope they can stop by and take care of her when I can't be there. It's been a struggle while he's away on business ever since she was diagnosed 5 months ago.
I hope that there is time for a little relaxation over the weekend!

Hey y'all! Hope your weekends are off to a phenomenal start. I've had a pretty great day today and am looking forward to a date night with my hubs tonight. I've got a race Sunday morning at a state park (4 miler) but it's supposed to storm quite a bit this weekend, so we'll see how it all turns out! Thinking of you all this evening! Thanks for journeying with me towards Christmas and more immediately to CIJ-it's NEXT MONTH! Wahoo!!
