Christmas Countdown - 2016

Happy Pines Day!! My kids went back to school today and my oldest is starting high school so I hope everything is going well. They only have classes for 10 mins each and then they do a huge celebration welcoming the freshman. They have waterslides, food trucks and a bunch of games so it should be fun!
Just working today and my husband is making me stuffed shrimp tonight for my b-day dinner. He is an awesome cook so I am looking forward to that! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wow I wish they did that when I was in high school lol. I basically got left at the door my first day lost and alone. Ahh good memories . Happy Birthday by the way!

Made me remember in High School we had to walk in the office and they gave you pencils and these funny tablets that were like a 1/2 size piece of paper in size. Of course that was when as a student you could smoke out back of the school..lol

We're doing well, thanks ... and my dental odyssey seems to be over until February---hooray! Getting started on holiday audio and video projects.

I am so relieved for you that your dental worries are over for now at least. No time for that nonsense this time of year! Too many festivities to plan for ! LOL Good luck with this year's projects . I am sure they will be wonderful as always!

Thank you! It's been a great summer. Just went so fast! Not much new to report. Lots of family & friend weddings this year, lake time, work, garden, poof - summers (almost) gone!

Just got word our neighbor lady at the lake passed away this morning! #@&^ cancer! Her significant other has had a trailer close to us for years. They started dating probably close to 10 years ago. He left a message on my phone this morning wanting me to let everyone know. He was so upset. The poor guy! Hate it!

Glad to hear it. I know i always say time flies but I find that this year has particularly gone by fast. Seems like I was only just picking mum up at airport and then it was time to leave! It went by in a blink. I hope these next few months takes it's time.

There are still a few things that could flare up and need treatment in the future, but it's good to be free of dental woes (fingers crossed) for a few months at least!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Most importantly Happy 'Bers Day Eve! The last non-Bers day until New Years Day. Let that sink in for a minute. Think about all that we will experience in the next 4 month. It's the stuff people like myself wait for all 8 months long. Not to say I have not appreciated the summer (and spring). Winter not so much but I'm working on that for 2017 . My boss sent us a really nice email yesterday about how we covered for each other this summer when everyone was in and out on vacation. She told us she wants to take us out to lunch one day soon. It was nice to hear.

Another fairly nice day here yesterday considering it's still August, although we are monitoring a couple of tropical systems that could brush past our cottage.

I had a fun night last night doing a little grocery & dollar store shopping! I was at the dollar store to pick up a few things for Mom when I decided to take a little stroll down the "Fall" aisle. It's not much but I picked up a few little things to add to my collection...

I thought they were pretty cute for a couple/few bucks! I'm not decorated for fall at home yet, but of course these things are out already - I wasn't going to put them away at this point in the game!

I forgot to mention my fun at the grocery store last night!
@made582 - LOOK what I finally found!!!! I think you told me about these before Thanksgiving maybe 2 years ago & I put them permanently on the grocery list in my phone, looking for them at every different store I went too. Well guess what showed up at my normal shopping spot & when I wasn't even looking!!

My eyes about popped out of my head - I was pretty excited!! LOL (it's the little things....) We will have to try it soon!

Oh, & @snowflake22 - I also picked up some Leinenkugel Harvest Patch Shandy! A grocery trip can't get much more fun than that. HA!

Excellent grocery store finds!! Score!
Adi brought me home some more Harvest Patch Shandy last night, too!
