Christmas Countdown - 2016

I'm not big into pumpkin pie or pumpkin drinks. My sister is though. I'm much more into apple pie. I do love watermelon...to each their own .

I dont know so much with a pumpkin drink. I liked the pumpkin spice creamer. But not enough to buy it any time real soon again. I love anything apple also. But a choice between pumpkin pie or apple pie? ( lol..I will take a slice of both)

Just got word our neighbor lady at the lake passed away this morning! #@&^ cancer! Her significant other has had a trailer close to us for years. They started dating probably close to 10 years ago. He left a message on my phone this morning wanting me to let everyone know. He was so upset. The poor guy! Hate it!

I'm so sorry for you, Holiday. My condolences.

After work yesterday evening I was exhausted, after working through some serious pain in the middle of the afternoon. I didn't have a good night's sleep either but at least I'm pain-free. Another afternoon/evening shift for me. This week seems very long to me, probably because I'm looking forward to the long weekend so much.

I have to say it is delightful to read all your posts and to "feel" all of the excitement for September and the months coming up. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Good Morning all....Happy Bers! My b-day was a pretty good day. My daughters made me a cake and they gave me 2 new fall candles. A Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Candies. They smell so good! Just work for me and I have my Christmas music going. Tonight I am going to decorate my mantle for fall and pull out some other decorations. Have a great day!

The 1st and the countdown steps up once again. Good morning all. Nice day so far here in Sioux Falls. Got my front lawn mowed right after I got home. I am going to try to get to bed a little earlier today than normal. Just seem to be a bit more on the tired side this AM.

Good morning, friends!

Thursday. The weekend is so close. Wait. It's September? Happy 'Ber months, everyone! The seasons are so close to changing. And, today, the calendar has changed!

We have had a pretty warm summer in Ottawa. Temperatures have been regularly above 30c/85f. No complaints here. Today, however, we are getting a preview of the comfortable Autumn weather. Temperatures are only to reach 23c/70f. I like it!

It appears that we're back into Pumpkin Spice season, too? I, like many here, love the Pumpkin Spice season, yet do not necessarily partake. I love pumpkin pie and everything pumpkin that is edible. I just do not do those whacky coffees or lattes. Still, I am excited to revel in the smell for the next few months. Our Season is so close!

My breakfast is almost ready. I should really get to that. Have a great Thursday, everyone!!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy September and of course Happy 'Bers! We begin the best 4 months of the year today. As many have stated as much as we all love Christmas time the build to it during the 'Bers and all the fun amazing things we have (i.e. football season, cooler weather, apple pie, Halloween, etc. etc.) lead us to that through these wonderful amazing and best months of the year. Today I'm going to take a long lunch break. We are taking Rollins to our vet for a checkup. Hoping he gets mostly a positive review.

The 'bers are here, the 'bers are here!!!

Happy 'Bers day everyone. I'm celebrating today's bench mark day by having my first cup of coffee for the season (haven't had coffee since April) and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin from Starbucks.

I do hope that everyone stops to have a mini celebration in honor of these glorious months ahead of us and remember why it is we love this time of year so much. Enjoy everybody!!!

Holiday that is such sad news. Cancer is a terrible disease (I lost my mom to cancer when I was little). Sending warm thoughts to her family and to you as well.

It's red & green sprinkles - obviously mostly green! I think that looks like a fun project!
But on a side note have you ever tried Wilton food coloring? It makes icing with much more vivid colors.
