GM All...wow what a game last night!! My husband is a huge Pats fan so needless to say he was very happy!
I am working today and my oldest is home with the stomach bug...ugh!
Hope you all have a great day!!
Morning MMC! That was some Superbowl last night. I have to give credit where it's due. Brady was amazing coming back in that game. 5 rings no other QB has that many. We saw history last night in several ways. Well now that the football season is over what's next? Oh the next milestone next Sunday! That will help out with the 1st Sunday without football since Labor Day. I took today off so I'm trying to take advantage of that by getting a lot of little things done so that for the next 4 days that I work it's less to do after work.
Have a great Monday post Superbowl!
It was a great game. The Patriots coaching staff did at half time what they had done so many times in the past... figure out what they needed to do to win. Congratulations to Tom Brady. In some areas, he has done what no other QB has done and certainly cemented his place at Canton.
The QB debate will go on forever. Some will always point out the difference in the way a QB can be hit now (which is good for health reasons) versus the "old days" and other will also compare those days to the size and speed of the players in this day and age. I think that overall the mark of an exceptional QB is to ask one simple question... could he have performed well (not exactly the same) in another era. Could Brady have played well in the 60's and 70's? Yes. Just as Johnny Unitas could have played well in today's NFL. I also remember Otto Graham of the Browns who played 10 years and took his team to 10 championships, winning seven. I also like the fact that if you take a look at the top ten QBs, there is quite a gap until you get into the 2005 season and beyond. Nice to see them all emerging.
And now, on to life without football for another 6 months...

Kind of fun to think about the next time we watch "real football" will be when we are just entering our favorite 4 months of the years (the bers).

Good Morning, MMC!! Its going to be a nice warm sunny day here in central Indy. Then rain moves in tonight. Not much going on here. Just a lot of stuff to do around the apartment. I still can't believe what happened last night even though I kept telling everyone, It's New England, its not over until its over. I never thought Atlanta would choke that hard though. Oh well, it's over and now it's time to move on to my true love. NASCAR!! Bring on Daytona!! I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Good evening,

I just want to let you all know that Merlin passed away this morning, we got home yesterday and he wasn't able to use his hind legs. We brought him to the vet and they gave him a shot that was suppose to alleviate the pain from the arthritis and give him use of his legs back. It didn't work, he couldn't move them. My wife brought him to the vet again this morning and after talking to the vet, it was decided that euthanasia was the best. He was suffering, and we couldn't bear to see him like that. He had a long wonderful life, he was a trooper, never complained even when he was in pain.
We miss him terribly, we had him since 6 months into our relationship, 17.5 years, he has been there for every step of our life together.

Goodnight, everyone
I'm sorry for you loss, my friend. :(

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

I did decide to watch the last half of the game last night. I turned it on as the half-time show was finishing, and I couldn't believe that the Falcons were going to win!! Then, slowly but surely... Oh well. Lots of disappointed folks around Bellville today LOL. Bernie, the mayor, the preacher; all of them inconsolable. I'm glad I didn't really have a dog in that hunt!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Hi! My first post here. I love the milestone chart! ♥ The way the weeks fly by, it'll be time to visit the tree farm in no time at all. I need to get this year's tree out of the house! Live trees are not meant to stay up this long. We cut it the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to interacting with like minded people.
