Sooooooo exciting!!!! I hope your day of work goes well!!! Happy August!!!Happy August 1st!! So hard to believe that we are here! I think it will hit me more once vacation is over. I started packing last night and think I am pretty much ready to go. I had the girls lay out theirr outfits as well. I am just wrapping up stuff for work and getting ready to get into vacay mode.
Hope you all have a great day!
I'm sorry Gracie isn't feeling well. Praying the alternative meds will help!Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday! The next 3 days we have a high predicted of 80 - 81º & then we aren't supposed to get out of the 70's through August 15th! That's crazy!! And I'm sure it will change! We have a chance of rain now through Friday....but right now it's a gorgeous morning!
Gracie has me worried. She hasn't eaten since Sunday evening & she threw up this morning! That girl! Could be too much medicine & not enough food. She goes to the alternative meds vet on Thursday. xx
I got to meet one of Mom's new caregivers, Dena yesterday. She seems very nice! I sure hope this all works out! xx
Everyone, have a great day!!!

Good Morning Holiday. Personally I can do with a few cooler days. Helps make my work in the yard a bit more bearable. Sorry to hear about Gracie and I will remember her along with your mom and I am glad she has settled in with a nice person for assistance. Have a great vacation and hopefully that will include at least one day to really kick back and relax. But whatever your plans I pray the weather will cooperate with them. In other words... ENJOY!Happy August 1st!! So hard to believe that we are here! I think it will hit me more once vacation is over. I started packing last night and think I am pretty much ready to go. Hey there Brad. Much the same here in SD, but tomorrow is the big change... a high of 66! That of course means the A/C is off and the windows open to fill the home with nice, fresh air. The following few days will be in the low to mid 70's, so I can handle that as well.Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!
It's another BEAUTIFUL morning here in southeast Georgia! it was 62°F when I drove to work this morning! I have all three of my office windows open, and the breeze is fantastic!
I can't believe that one month from today, the 'Bers start! And will cooler weather like this, I can almost feel it. I know it's still a month away, and September is still a hot month for us, but I'm ready!
I hope y'all have a great, cool day!

Good Morning Merry. I think August will slow us all down just a tad. Nothing really to celebrate, just time to prepare for the holiday months that follow. Have fun with your upcoming Kringle Radio preparation and of course as they might say on those (endless) time/life commercials... enjoy the music.I'm joining everyone else, astonished that it's August 1 already! I hope it doesn't fly by so quickly, because I'm getting my Christmas projects under way and I need that time to work on them! Otherwise they get in the way of cards, wrapping, decorating, and other things that need my attention when the season itself arrives. I've been "auditioning" CDs in my car on the way to work, looking for fresh material for Kringle Radio shows! It's a festive way to pass the time!
Enjoy your beautiful day!!!!Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Back when I was doing Loss Prevention for Wally I used to order up like 6-8 trailers in Sept to put behind the store. Its a far cry from when I was working part time for them back in the mid 90's, get done on the base and race to Wally to work. Back then they had no self control about ordering Christmas. We would honestly have 2 whole trailers loaded with wrapping paper and no aisle to walk inside. Lol..that was the good old days of .05 wrapping paper on clearance. Tape for .05, boxes of balls for .25....ohh how I miss those days. We had like 12 trailers just for Christmas overstock and 20 for layaways. No worries!![]()
Thxs Crown Merry August 1st!!!Good Morning, Window Watchers.
And that Window is just about ready to open!
We will learn all about that in just a moment.
First, we need to take a peek at our latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 104
Days to Christmas Day: 146
And yes, you read that right. In a scant FOUR days (barely over HALF A WEEK) the 100-Day Season Window will indeed be thrown open, revealing a DOUBLE DIGIT Season count landscape as far as the eye can see.
(This, of course, will mean our pace to Christmas Season 2017 will just seem to move that much faster!)
A bit warmer yesterday than Sunday was, but still pretty nice to close out July.
This new month has commenced here at 65 degrees and we should hit the upper 80's by this afternoon.
But the humidity is supposed to remain in the 40's, so it should be reasonably comfortable.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Folks.
And say, Guys. We can now officially state that Christmas Blossoms 2017 will launch next month!
(Now, doesn't Christmas seem even closer than ever?)
Morning Gunny. Still doing the Wally thing, but now (at least where we are) they are no longer allowed to use trailers. That makes for a very full back room and a lot of it goes out into the lexon of L&G for storage as well. Still get some great deals at the end of Christmas, especially when a box or two falls behind others and is not even discovered until February...Back when I was doing Loss Prevention for Wally I used to order up like 6-8 trailers in Sept to put behind the store. Great idea for the banana bread!
And great find on the chair!!! Did you snag both, or just 1 for her?
Hope you're having a great day!
