Coach- Junior looked okay in practice today but not great. He defintely doesn't have a car that can go where ever he wants it to like in the good ole days. He pulled up to people well though and the car seem to be okay pushing people. He never really got out front in practice so I hope the car will be good enough to lead. I hope he does well in qualifying tommorrow and hopefully we got our bad luck out of the way today. During the first practice he had a rear end seal start leaking but they got it changed in a couple of minutes. They also announced that Lance will stay on as crew chief next year.

I don't know about you, but at this point in time, I just want to see improved results. I want to be back cheering every week and excited the race is coming on b/c I know my guy can be competitive! I know that if there is going to be a championship it's not going to be for two or three years at least so I just want it to get better! I miss Nascar being fun....it's been flustering....BUT I BELIEVE!!!

What a day...I hope you are as happy about it being Friday as I am! Just got home form the game and I am so looking forward to some down time. Going to make my Christmas jelly tomorrow and work on some of the treats that I am giving out for Christmas.....THEN CANDY TIME....after that...I will start getting out lights and put them up this weekend too....

Wife want to put tree up next weekend, but I'm trying to talk her into waiting one more week.......we'll see!

Well it's 3:50 AM on a Sat. morning so of course I'm up. I'm supposed to be studying though. I just don't feel like it. I can't study at the house. I may get ready and go to work, it seems like I can study well at work for some reason. I don't know why. CRAZY! I go in there, sit at my desk for hours and I"m not getting paid for it. I'm just studying. Oh well, whatever works I guess. I'm gonna go and get ready now. Have a good weekend everyone.

Oct pretty much flew by. And a busy Nov it will be with several family birthday gatherings, a rehearsal and gig with my band and a CFL East final to go to.

I am with you on just wanting to see improved results. If he can finish in the top 15 the next 4 races I would be happy. He has won at talladega, texas, and phoenix so he knows what he is doing. Hello Friends and Christmas Season Anticipators!

And yes, Christmas Season 2009 is really closing in:
Days to the Season: 13
Days to Christmas Day: 55
And that number 13 is not unlucky! It means we have now dropped UNDER two weeks until the Season begins.
We are also under 8 weeks now to Christmas Day.
Such happy thoughts to start our weekend!
(And you know that after tomorrow, there is only ONE more weekend until the Season!!)

Wet and rainy here in Raleigh at this hour, where I have just finished reading the newspaper whose weather section stated 0% chance of rain!
(It was probably raining as they typed it!)
We stand at 64, currently.

Wow it is hard to belive that we are only 13 days away form the season and that today is the last day of october. I am going to spend the day doing some cleaning around the house and watching nascar qualifying. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Halloween....I like Halloween....fun to see all the kids having fun and dressed up! But you know what I like best about Halloween....and forgive me if you think it's weird.....it's like the gateway to our time of year...the happy time of year....and it's all the problems....ghosts, goblins, devils, etc....getting out and leaving....

BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NOVEMBER....AND WE ARE THERE!!! For the next two months, it's that feeling that we all love.....and I couldn't be more excited about it. We got our halloween decorations out, but today we are taking out the Christmas decorations because we are preparing for next weekend....when we will put up all our decorations and the tree the weekend after that!

We're at the cusp, friends!

Coach- they cancelled qualifying because of rain so junior will start 24th tomorrow. He has won from 43rd at talladega so I still have hope.

i did a little party for my daughter and godchildren. my isobel was a little fat pumpkin, she looked very cute! we will be celebrating bonfire night in the UK on thursday and i can't wait, it's always a good night.

Hope it's ok to jump in on this thread but we had friends round this evening for some Halloween fun, but them knowing how much I love Christmas they brought me a bottle of mulled wine for us to drink at midnight/november 1. Very happy to have had my first mug of mulled wine of the season!! Feeling very festive now! cheesy

It's November 1st! I have just returned from a Halloween party, which obviously only involved pop and chips, and would like to say that I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween and are looking forward to November as much as I am. I am very excited to celebrate this month on MMC and can't wait for the countdown to continue into December!!
