Christmas Countdown - 2009

Also, Kim wants to put up the Christmas tree and musical lights as soon as possible. It may actually be tomorrow!! I will post pictures as soon as I can after she decides to put them up. I'm very excited! Normally, I would be the one who suggests putting the decorations up a little early, but she wants them displayed for at least a month before I return home for Christmas. Tomorrow should be exciting!!

Hey You guys.....I am at my bro´s house since Friday....my baby nephew turned a year on Friday.....yesterday we went to an indoor playground and when we came back we went trick or treatin with the girls...we walked them so hard...lol....that when they came home they could hardly eat up their fries...they went to bed and fell asleep immediately...and for a first time trick or treater...I was surprised how much they got....In germany HALLOWEEN is still in its baby shoes...still developing....the last few years more and more Halloween parties we done by clubs and such and the trick or treatin is pickin up too...which I find truly great!!!

anyway...I ´m hoping for the netbook to be delivered latest by next week....so i will be with all You beautifull peoples again

Happy November 1st everyone!

I had a great evening last night for Halloween. My 2yo DD was dressed up as a cheerleader and she was just so stinkin' cute! She was a trick or treating expert by the end and had a blast. Her 7, 6 and 5 year old cousins all wimped out pretty early on, but Kaylin and her other cousin that is 2 walked ALL over grandma and grandpa's neighborhood and cleaned up with some awesome candy!

Today I am getting ready to start my Christmas celebrations though! Yay! I may get a tree up today, possibly. Depends on my plans. I'd like to, but I need to go into work for a couple of hours too and I think my family is planning dinner together. So we shall see.

I leave on Friday for Branson. I can't wait to be down there and celebrating Christmas! For those that haven't seen it, you should check out on youtube the tree lighting show at Silver Dollar City. It is absolutely amazing and in less than 1 week I'll be there! I can just feel the spirit right now!

I'll be home just in time for the start of the season on the 13th. I can't wait. We'll probably go see A Christmas Carol right after we get home from vacation too. It looks like it is full swing from here on out! Yay!

Had a great night last night....gave out candy...my wife was right there with me....we ate and watched all the little ones and talkeda bout how we can't wait to have our own. The dog just sit there and was so good...(St. Bernard)...and one little one walked up and gave him a big ol hug and our dog gave her a slobbery kiss...and she said...Love you Betven....I guess for Beethoven...at least that's what her mom said....it was classic....

Can yall believe it's Nov. 1? Oh my....I'm listening to Christmas music and got a Christmas movie on and drinking out of my Christmas mug....IT'S CHRISTMAS OVERLOAD!!

We had a nice Halloween evening. too.
My sister, brother-in-law and I met at my father's house and we all went out to eat supper, then returned in time to hand out Halloween candy while the college football games played in the background. Great time.

WooHoo It's november 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love turning the calender from october to november. I just instantly become happy knowing that the time is here to start celebrating the holiday season. I am glad to hear that everyone had a great halloween. I spent the night passing candy out at my sisters house. She had 105 kids come to her house last night. That is well below the average of 150. My nieces enjoyed trick or treating and didn't want to stop. They got three big bags of candy between the two of them. Today is going to be spent watching nascar and football. The colts play the same time as the race is on so I will be wearing out the remote again today. I will be also be getting my christmas cards ready during the race. My neighor asked me if I was going to put out my christmas countdown sign soon last night so this morning I got it down and I will put it out for him today. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, November 1st already! Tomorrow is my baby's birthday...he will be 22 and at 6'2" he is one big baby!

It is finally quiet around here, just have to make supper, so I can mostly relax.

Only 53 days, 10 hours, 23 min and 45 secs left to go! (at least when I typed this that was the count!) Our pastor the other day was teasing me about knowing the count right down to the last min! cheesy

I always say christmas is either on its way or its here , its never over. I watched A Christmas Carole ('38 version) today on Pay Per View. My daughter came in and laughted at me for actually paying to watch a movie Id seen hundreds of times . Poor kid--shes 24 and just doesnt get it.

Coach- I will take it. He didn't win but he got 10th when he was 22nd with two to go. Of course it helped when they wrecked in front of him but he wasn't in it so maybe that is a sign that our luck is turning around. On to texas where he got his first cup series win.
