Had a long day of cleaning up from our Halloween party last night. Cleaning up after is even harder than preparing for I think. Then we took down all of the Halloween decorations and started putting up Christmas lights on the front porch. All in all I'd say we are maybe 10% finished. Gonna get some supper and watch Christmas Vacation. If weather allows it will try to get up early and start back with the decorating.

what a great day here...nice and warm 65 with sunshine aplenty! got all my decorations out of storage and this week will be spent putting them up....the wife is really pressing me to put the tree up next weekend....what do yall think?

Hi Everyone! I hope that everyone has a great day. I sure did. The Eagles won today and shortly I will be cheering on the Phils for a win! My weekend was fun with taking my daughter out trick or treatsing. My sister in law lives in Denver and virtually sent some snow my way! I loved it. I cannot wait for Christmas and am excited to join in the countdown!

COACH- I say keep the tradition. Tell her you will put out all the other decorations but you want to keep the tree back until the traditional time.
Well I put my christmas countdown sign outside today. My neighor loves it. I need to go buy a new digital camera so I can take a pic for all of you. I also managed to get the rest of my christmas cards ready to send out while watching the race and the colts game. So the colts remain undefeated and I started putting my christmas decorations out. I call that a good day!!!!!!!!!!

We decided we are going to Pick out our tree at our local tree farm which is like 5 mins down the street. We were gonna go in December but hubby will prob be on the road in his rig.I dont want him to miss it.My sister and niece,& nephew might come with us! yay.. Have a nice evening all!

Bad news is it's Monday....Good news is it's the beginning of the last week of the year that has no season in it....seeing as how we start the season next Friday....that means we have one more week with no season....to me, that's good news!

Today is a great day at work! We start selling our Limited Time Only Holiday shake!!!
It is a peppermint chocolate chip crunch. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Yummy!!! So go find your local Chick-fil-A today for a bit of the holiday spirit! I know I will! (Oh wait - I HAVE to go, but I will enjoy a shake today LOL)
Got a few long days ahead of me, but then off I will go to Branson. I've about got my meal plans made and my activities planned out - with plenty of lounge about and do nothing time too! I really, really can't wait!

First Monday in Nov already.....seems like we just started Oct. no so long ago.....the weeks are really starting to fly by now and Nov. will be a busy month with several family birthdays to go through and it begins with my 13th anniversary dinner this evening.
Can't wait for Eggnog to hit the store shelves in the next week or two. All signs that it is indeed fast approaching.

Good Morning all....
We did some more Christmas Shopping yesterday. Went to Toys R US and took my mom with us. She is now almost done buying for the kids. I really need to get started on the wrapping but I am trying hold off a few more weeks. All the kids gifts are tucked away in the attic so there is no worries on the kids finding them...
I may start taking down the halloween stuff tonight.

We currently stand at 52 degrees and it's not supposed to get much warmer all day.
Should be better for tomorrow and the rest of the week, or so the weather service says.

The last full week until the Season - well said coach! Halloween has past and, with the exception of Remembrance Day (Veterans Day in the US), there is no other holiday between now and Christmas in Canada. How exciting! December 25th is extremely close.
Sunny and -3C with the wind chill here in Ottawa right now. We're supposed to get up to about 9C (48F) today. Rain is expected this evening. It's a busy day for me. Two assignments are due today. An essay, which I have to re-edit in a couple hours and then a presentation for my night class. Thankfully, everything has been completed. I can't wait to have this all behind me! There are only two more essays and one more assignment left at this.
On a great note, Kim and I put up our Christmas decorations yesterday!! She wanted them to go up real early since I am leaving for home on December 5th. I would have taken pictures but the red lights on the string are not working. This is kind of frustrating as I will have to test each bulb to see which has burnt out. The tree is also up. Early isn't it?! We're probably going to go to Wal-Mart or something of that nature soon to purchase some extra lights and maybe a few more decorations. I will post pictures after that! Now, all that is left for me is the Christmas music to be played. Excited for that!!!!
