Happy November 3rd everyone!! It is nice and chilly here this morning---36 out and I love it! The heat just kicked on and tonight I will be loading the woodstove because it is suposed to be in the 20's tonight!!

Well contrary to the countdown MY Christmas season started Sunday November 1st. Yes I took down all the Halloween stuff and put up my Christmas stuff. Ill be putting up more this weekend as well. The lights are up and on outside, tree is up with lights but needs to be decorated. Manger is up as well! Have a great day all!

Good Tuesday morning!
It was a little chilly this morning, around 53° F a daylight. I like it that way. I walk in the mornings from 6:30 to 7:15 or so, and it's been really cold in shorts & a tee shirt. But I'm a guy, I'm tough...right? It's really interesting the things you see when you are out at the crack of dawn and walking instead of driving. What really kills me is the number of people who drive past me while talking on the cell phone. Who's awake that early in the morning that wants to talk to them on the phone? cheesy

I have been packing up stuff the last couple of weeks too. My apartment is starting to look pretty empty. I hope the young one starts feeling better soon.

Wow only 10 days left to the season!!!!!!!! I went and did some christmas shopping last night and finished one of my nieces and my nephew. That leaves two nieces, my mom, and aunt to go. I loved walking through the stores and seeing all of the christmas stuff going up. It put a big smile on my face. Today I need to clean the kitchen and then I need to rearrange the freezer. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We now have a cell phone ban here in Ontario while operating any motor vehicle. How ever, I still see many people using them anyway, even with a possible $500 fine if caught.

It's the final double digit day until the Season! A special occassion. I can still recall being absolutely thrilled moving from triple to double digits while working at Health Canada on August 5th. Time certainly does fly. Decorations are appearing everywhere, even homes, and soon there will be nothing but joyful Christmusic from each and every store spreading holiday cheer to us all!
There was overcast with a few sprinkles on my way to work. Overall, a real nice morning for November. Yesterday was absolutely beautiful. A very light breeze with sunny skies and a high of 11C (52F). With the time shift, however, the sun now sets at 4:47 PM here in Ottawa and it's only going to get earlier until Winter Solstice! I don't mind, though. I kind of like the early sunsets as it leads into Christmas. A nice, natural tradition!
I hope that everyone enjoys their Tuesday and is as excited as I am to return for a single digit celebration tomorrow!

I was going to mention this as well. I hope that more places will continue adopting this law. I also hope that it is enforced quite strictly, too, especially since I have also seen many people disobey the new law.
i plan on spending this coming weekend making a start on watching some christmas films. i cannot wait! i'm also going to finish off clearing the house out to make way for my christmas decorations. i want it like a grotto this year!

My season also started on Nov 1st... I decorated for 11.5 hour straight and Im still not done! ACK! Its my 12 ft tree that I have the hardest time with.. afraid of falling of the ladder not to mention the ladder is heavy and having to move it and climb UP AND DOWN a million times to get more decorations to add. But 3 full size trees are up and just one needs decorations. I went shopping for more stuff yesterday. Picked up quite a bit

They have been talking about making this a law here to. It is a law where my sister lives but she breaks it all the time. She will call you and if she sees a cop she just drops the phone on the floor. So as you are talking to her you just hear this bang and you know a cop is around. I am planning on getting her a blue tooth for christmas.
:lol: That's pretty good. I don't think we're supposed to talk on them while driving here, either. Everyone still does, though.
It snowed today! Just a little bit, but it was snow. More in the forecast for tomorrow.
