Well today is another day of getting my new work in order. It usually takes me three days to get all of my paperwork just how I like it. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good afternoon, everyone!
I have managed to sneak on near the end of my lunch break. Only one more week until our next milestone! Obviously, it will be quite thrilling to the 50s in the Season countdown as well! Hooray!
As Star said, the time really does speed up as Christmas apporaches. Everything is moving so quickly right now. I cannot wait to feel the crispness in the air and step into a mall with Christmas on my mind. The time is coming so fast!
It's a beautiful day here in Ottawa. About 75 degree high, clear and calm. Perfect weather! We have our first tryouts today at Carleton, so it will be real nice to see this years prospects as well as be on campus for the first time of the official school year.

Hey guys! Hope this finds all doing great! Life here has been busy, which is a blessing! Just got done with the 2nd round of Christmas gifts tonight...3 more to go...can't believe it! Amazing....just amazing! The season is coming fast...Christmas is just about 100 days....I can't wait...anyways....
Sunshine is aplenty here....nice and warm around 85 and no rain in sight...probably having our best weather of the summer...but it's good...leaves are starting to fall and change colors so the sense of fall is in the air!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I was so busy I never got a chance to check back in. I hope I didn't sound like I was complaining. Thank the Good Lord, work is very busy.
I am hoping for a slower weekend, though. I'd like to take Jacob fishing Saturday morning. There's not much better than bass fishing on a foggy, still pond on a cool Saturday morning at daybreak.
I've been putting off buying a new mattress, but Nancy is insisting now. I guess I gotta go get it this afternoon.

Well it is in the 70's here right now and 90% humidty. I want to know what happened to that fall weather we had two weeks ago. Today the plan is to make out my grocery list and finish my paperwork for work. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is another beautiful day here in Ottawa. Clear skies and a slight breeze. We could not ask for anything more at this time of year. Absolutely perfect.
The post count seems to have decreased as of late. Although I am sure most people are busy preparing for the new Fall season, I hope everything is all right. I must have missed something while I was away for Labour Day weekend.
The countdown rolls on and we'll be at the 100 mark in no time. I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of their day!

9/11/01 We Shall Never Forget...
Hey everyone - this has been a pretty crazy and busy week. We had a HUGE promotion at work on Monday where anyone that was wearing a sports team logo could get a free Chick-fil-A sandwich. I expected it to go over well, but I never in a million years would have expected what happened! We gave away almost 1200 FREE sandwiches, not to mention the food that people paid for! I was there from 5:45am-7pm when I went to grab dinner with my boss, then I went right back to the store to clean up all of the extra promotional materials that were out for it. I am STILL recovering!
Wednesday evening, my husband and I started teaching a class at church called Financial Peace University. It is a Dave Ramsey program. Then Thursday, I had my MOPS group planning meeting. Today it is back to work to get a few things checked off of my list before the weekend.
Its to be sunny and 85 today - it has been really beautiful this last week or so. The leaves are a little confused, though, as I've started to see some of the yellow leaves start to turn already. Not many, but some. It is starting early this year I guess due to the mild weather.
I am happy to see the count coming closer and closer to the 100 day mark. It just seems like we have been ready for it for so long! Now it is so close and I can feel it!
And, finally, lets remember our fellow Americans that we lost 8 years ago today. In some ways, it still seems like yesterday...
