Morning Friends! Weekend was a lazy one,and it felt great! Have a good day!

A very wet morning here. This is moving week, by this time next week we should be all settled in our new place. I forgot to call cable about the move so I may be off line for a few days :-?
Lots of cleaning and still some packing to do between work and other stuff (I have a wedding cake to deliver the same day they guys are coming to move all my big stuff over!)

Hope the move goes smooth for you and that you won't be gone for long!!!!

OK, folks!
We stand on the very threshhold of a new post record.
Last year's total posts was 5,103 including the launch post.
This makes 5,102.
The next poster ties the record and the one after that sets a new one!

Done, and done! Yee haw! (Sorry, a little south GA redneck slipped out there.)

And how appropriate that the record should be broken on the day our Christmas Blossoms thread is launched, which I will do momentarily.

And I'm going over to check that out in a sec, thanks! cheesy

Every year on the 1st of Oct. spider webs begin to appear on the bus. They start out barely noticeable and just grow and grow until by halloween the whole inside of the bus is covered in them. It has become a contest with the kids to see who can find the first hint of spider webs, and for me a challenge to see how many I can sneak up before they are spotted!

That sounds like fun and I am sure the kids love it!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're breaking 2008 records, and it's only September!

I've been solidifying my November vacation plans in the mountains. There just happens to be a Christmas Festival going on in Maggie Valley, NC the same weekend I'm planning to visit. What are the odds?....cheesy

The temperature is supposed to start moderating this week, and I sure hope so. It's been pretty doggone hot.

I hope you all have a great Monday!

where does the time go?

I Think santa somehow takes it and then uses it on christmas eve to give him enough time to deliver all of those gifts.

Well it wasn't a great day for junior yesterday. They did finish 4 spots higher than they started so I guess I can't complain. :-?

Not much going on around here today. I think that I am going to spend the morning on the computer and the afternoon cleaning out my pantry. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is everyone doing this week? I picked up the halloween decorations for my bus at the $ store. (window stickers and spider webs) Every year on the 1st of Oct. spider webs begin to appear on the bus. They start out barely noticeable and just grow and grow until by halloween the whole inside of the bus is covered in them. It has become a contest with the kids to see who can find the first hint of spider webs, and for me a challenge to see how many I can sneak up before they are spotted!

That's so much fun!

It's a rainy dreary Monday here. I have a few things planned for the day. I just called a company I want to work for and am waiting to hear back from them within the next hour or so. I have some errands to run and some research to do and probably some movies to watch this evening.

At least the rainy dreariness means it's really finally fall! :pumpkin:

Good morning, everyone!!

I have returned home from a safe trip to London, Ontario. The tournament was decent, but we did not come home with a championship as we had planned to do. Unfortunate, but Nationals is less than three weeks away and that's the most important goal of the season.

I hope that everyone else enjoyed their weekend. It was nice to be back in southern Ontario for a short period. The weather was fairly nice yesterday but quite windy and rainy on Saturday. It is supposed be average and wet here today in Ottawa. A high of about 61 F is expected, and believe it or not that seems to be the high for the next few days as we are stuck throughout the 50s for the rest of the week. Fall has arrived and October is certainly just around the corner.

Nice to see that we broke a record!! It's nice to see how the spirit of Christmas brings us together. In order news, my girlfriend saw a commercial for A Christmas Carol on TV last Wednesday. She called me into the living room to watch. Surprisingly, she seemed quite excited and asked if we were going to see it... Opening night on iMAX! I am sure that everyone else is getting ready to be consumed with the magical Christmas Season on television and everywhere else too - as it is evidently starting in the Christmas Blossoms thread.

I have said too much. I must get to class and do a bit more reading as well. I hope that everyone has a great Monday. We are almost halfway through the 40s to the Season and well into the 80s for Christmas Day. Time flies, especially when away for a weekend. Enjoy your Monday, everyone!!

Good Morning! Is it Monday already? Had such a busy weekend. We got most of the fall/halloween decorations up. Just need to get an orange strand of lights and leaf garland to wrap around the deck and some real pumpkins. It looks cute. Had some people drive by really slow to check them out last night!

I want to make a batch of chili but it's still to warm yet. Hoping it will be cool enough this weekend or next so I can make a batch.

Have a nice day!

Good morning, everyone!!

I have returned home from a safe trip to London, Ontario.
I was in London on Sunday....had to take my daughter back for school.
Next time you are going let me know, maybe we could have tea, or if you rather, coffee. cheesy

A friend of mine just asked me to put together a CD of Christmas songs, i've got loads of them and it gives me an excuse to listen to them all tonight, so i'm in my element. :D

I'll post my tracklist later, gotta design covers as well.

Hey All!
I have been around lurking on the forums. Not posting as of late because its very busy at work and at home. But I have some time now to say hi and my oh my how time flies by. I have my desk at work decorated for Halloween! I saw Christmas stuff in the dollar store today and Canadian Tire has Christmas trees up and on. WOOO. Cant wait! Have a great day all!

That's crazy! So, I would imagine that she goes to Fanshawe? Good for her! I will certainly do my best to let you know whenever I return to that area. Don't worry, I am not a coffee enthusiast either!

I have given up on getting anything done today. I have tried to run the sweeper three times this afternoon and everytime I plug it in the power goes out. We are having high winds that keep knocking down the power lines. So I am just going to give up and wait until tommorrow. Hopefully it stays on long enough to cook dinner or we will just be having lunch meat sandwiches.

Let's just say you don't have to complain b/c I have done enough of it for both of us!!!cheesy
