just preparin sloppy joe´s for dinner....then while eatin I will be watching a soccer match of my german national team...it´s a test match against hungary....after this game...our coach will cut the last two players from the team
Happy Saturday afternoon! Thank you to everyone for the well wishes! I'm a teeny tiny bit excited, but I know how much in involved in a real estate transaction working out smoothly, so I'm not getting myself too worked up yet!! 
I have a very grouchy toddler on my hands today and the hubby works Saturdays... hoping he gets done at a reasonable hour and looking forward to having him off 2 days in a row!!! Hope everyone has a great day and thank you to our vets!

It is another hot one here in Indy today. The average high for this time of year is 77 and we currently stand at 89. My oldest niece has been feeling left out the last couple of days since her sister had her tonsils out so I took her to the Indy 500 parade this morning. We got there early so we could get a good spot in the shade. Thankfully we did because it got hot really quick. She enjoyed watching all of the bands and the balloons go by and it brought back alot of memories for me. They use to take all of the eagle scouts from around central indianapolis and have them march in the parade carrying the flags for each state. I marched in it 3 times with the scouts and 1 time with my high school marching band. I don't really have anything planned for tonight so I will probally just kick back and watch some tv. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Just sitting here watching the Stanley Cup Final, all tied up at 5 at the end of 2 periods. I am rooting for the Chicago Blackhawks for 2 reasons, I went to Chicago last June, and I hate the Philadelphia Flyers. I am more excited for the NHL draft though where my Bruins will pick either Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin but thats later in June.
Busy day at work today, I can now enjoy 2 days off with my wife home since she usually works on Mondays and I don't. We have a kids birthday party to go to tomorrow, Monday no real plans, I was hoping to go to a local Christmas store but I don't think it will happen this weekend www.christmas-barn.com or go to Santa's Land in Putney, VT www.santasland.com but may wait until the fall to go there.

Its 1:10am. Welcome night dwellers haha. It was a busy Saturday! Friday evening we bought a new bbq and today my friend helped us put it together. Then we made hamburgers on it. We also played 4 player New Super Mario Bros. That was a blast. Also played Mario Party on the Wii. My Wife won! My monitor recently died. Since I have an extended warranty on it I took it back. I was given a loaner that DIDN'T WORK! Just my luck. Well I got another one and its working so far. SO I am waiting for them to repair my monitor. If they cant fix it I either get a replacement or all my money back to purchase a new one. So its a win win. Had to fix my Mothers computer friday evening. Her hard drive died. Installed a new one and Windows 7. Just watching movies right now. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

what night yesterday....Germany won the Eurovision Song contest....for those of You who don´t know what it is......39 European countries send a singer with a new song there.....the viewers then vote by phone which song they liked the bests...kinda like Idol....but You are not allowed to vote for Your own country.......since in the last years it was mostly some type of geopolitical voting by the viewers than actually music taste...now the calls count 50 percent and there are judges now who´s decisison is 50 too.......with geopolitcal I mean......serbia for example always gave big points to croatia and bosnia herzegovina...ukraine, belarus and the former soviet states always give all their points to russia and kinda vice versa.....so the rules have been changed a bit now
So now after waiting 28 years....Germany has won it for the second time ever.....the singer was 19-year old teenager Lena, who is kind of real natural....no big costumes, no choreography....just cool and cute somehow....here´s a link to the song

she surely ain´t the greatest singer in the world...but homegal is unique and seems quite natural.....luv it

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!
Everyone else in my house is till alseep. I'm an early riser, so I've been messing around for an hour or so. I worked on the house all day yesterday. I spent the entire morning in the attic doing some re-wiring. Glad that's behind me.
I've got to wake up the family soon, our church starts at 9:30 am. That's earlier than the normal 11:00, but we share a preacher with another small church, so he leaves our church at 10:30 and goes to the other one. While he's at ours, they have Sunday School, and after he leaves ours, we have Sunday School. We're still at the restaurant before anyone else!

Good morning everyone!!!!!! It is going to be another hot one here today. They are calling for a high of 88 with a slight chance of t-storms this afternoon. I feel sorry for my brother in law who is heading out to the track today. He sits in turn one for the Indy 500 and there is no shade there what so ever. I need to run to the store this morning and then my sister called and invited us over for lunch. They still black out the race here locally so I will be listening to it on the radio and I will probally watch some of it online if I get a chance. Then this evening I will be kicking back and watching the nascar race. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am rooting for the Blackhawks too, not a big Philadelphia fan myself. Being originally from Maryland, I don't like any teams out of PA. Or New York City for that matter.
I love having year round Christmas places. We have 2 Christmas stores in our area. We start going to them in June. Those place you posted look neat!
It's about time we get our bbq out. I am ready to start grilling!
I love American Idol. I know I would like this competition as well!
