We stand at 76 degrees with highs predicted in the low 90's for the entire forecast period. Some chance of rain.

Day after tomorrow, we will be down to SINGLE DIGITS until the half way Milestone to Christmas Day!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, it was a scorcher yesterday! The thermometer in my truck showed 100° at 5:15 when I got home. Ouch! It's supposed to be just that hot today, too. Stay inside if you can.

Good Morning all! Its suppose to be a little cooler here today in the low to mid 80's..only for today and tomorrow and then back in the 90's. I will be leaving work early today to take my 10 month old son to the doctor. He was in the hospital when he was 3 months old and they did a catheter because they thought he could have had a UTI...well there could be damage because the hospital did not do it right. Im praying for the best, I hate to see my little man have to go through any pain. Have a nice Tuesday everyone!

I am off to a slow start this morning. I got up just in time for a conference call for work and now I am trying to get myself to go work for a couple of hours. My boss said that she wanted to come over and work with me one day soon so I need to go straighten up some accounts to take her to. She is from columbus ohio so I usually just meet her about halfway in one of the small towns to show her how good of a job I am doing and then she can turn around and go home and not have to come all the way into indianapolis. She has to come over 2 times a year to check on me and to make sure I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

What exactly is your job if you dont mind me asking?

I hope everyone had a good weekend, mine was ok.
Spent yesterday ordering things for my father-in-law's Surprise 60th birthday party, ordered him a GPS, and ordered the M&M's that will have his picture printed on them, it was expensive but it will be a nice touch in the candy dishes around the house for the party. We have less than 2 weeks to get everything in order. I spoke to my grandfather last night, he has his leg amputation surgery tomorrow, he sounds very upbeat, (he has always been cool as a cucumber) and according to my grandmother he can't wait. Which I found surprising, until she explained he has been dealing with the skin cancer for over 5 years and it will be a relief for him to be rid of the cancer. I will let you all know how he is doing as I find out the news. Well I am going to watch a Christmas episode of Married With Children.

Friends, I need your advice!

I am currently waiting to see if I can be accepted into Grad Studies to do my Masters in History at my university. However, I have also been accepted to Teachers College at Ni****ing University in North Bay, Ontario. North Bay is about four hours from Ottawa. I do not want to leave Ottawa, however, this may be my only choice to go to school. Plus, I have always wanted to be a high school teacher. Moreover, the teachers program at Ni****ing is ranked the best in Ontario - and perhaps Canada.

There are so many positives and negatives of this situation. Obviously, the continued education and teachers college will be very positive. Negatively, I will have to move away from Kim and Ottawa for a bit. However, I have also applied to have my placement in Ottawa, which means that I could be staying with Kim for at least a month of the year while "teaching" in Ottawa. If I do not get into Grad School, I think I may just go to Teachers College. But, I am not too sure if I should just go to teachers college anyway... especially since it is one of the best and most respected programs in the country. Help me out, friends!!

Any chance of Kim moving with you? 4 hours isnt too bad, do you think you could see each other each weekend and take turns going back and forth? Goodluck in whatever you decide, just take some time to think really hard what you really want!

Good morning all... what a weekend... On Saturday morning our frig died!!! thanfully it ws noticed before the food thawed so we were able to save most if it. It was just a hassel getting a new one and swapping them out quickly. Then I found out I need some expensive repairs done to my van...Going to the bank tonight to see about getting a small loan as we have to tap inot the vacation money to pay for the new frig!

Hoping my week gets betters! My daughter has her last softball game Wed.

Went into Hobby Lobby Friday and they had one aisle of fall stuff.....all the summer gardenish stuff was on sale and getting low.....Won't be long....

I wish we had a Hobby Lobby around here! The Michaels craft store usually starts getting Fall stuff out in July so hopefully I only have a few more weeks!

IT IS HOT HERE. I wish someone would hit me with a : That would be great! It was 105 heat index today. I love working in my yard, but it's crazy out there. I went to get my exercise in....and stopped running because I didn't have my water, was by myself, and thought I better not push it.

Last summer really messed me up. it was way too cool and this summer seems unbearable because of it. Please, oh please, Christmas hurry so it will be cold! See everyone tomorrow.

Brent, good luck with the decision. Just think about it and make the best decision for your future. If being away from Kim means you will be able to better provide for her in the future, then the sacrifice is worth making.

It has been miserable here as well! Be careful out there in the heat.

That's a tough decision. It sounds like you and Kim have a very strong relationship, and the program at Ni****ing (what does that mean, anyway?cheesy) can provide you with the education and means to do what you've always wanted to do. Four hours apart sounds daunting, but It also sounds like it'll improve your chances of employment in the future.

Get that education while you're young!

We've been together for four years in July. It is a pretty strong relationship. I did not notice that it was censored! That's quite funny! Take out the *'s, Nip*i*s*s*ing University. It is actually one of the most - if not the most - highly regarded Teachers College programs in Canada. Certainly the top in our province, at least. I think that I will be able to get a placement in Ottawa as well. This means that I will be only gone for about six to seven months...

Brent, a 4 hour drive is not that far , we used to live in Smithers BC and had to travel 4 hours to get to Prince George (the closest city) and did it regularly. You get used to it real quick. Don't put off your dreams because you may never get a chance again.

Four hours is not a whole lot for me either, really. Growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, all of our vacations were to somewhere that was at least four hours away, considering the fact that the Sault is fairly secluded from everything else.

Thanks, coach. It's appreciated. Kim will also be at teachers college - only in Ottawa. We'll both be able to provide quite well for each other after this. But, the sacrifice may be worth making as my program is supposed to be very good!

Good Morning fellow MMCer's

Busy day yesterday, but back to work today. Vacation from work begins in 19 days, I can't wait. It is going to be a "staycation" but it will be 2 weeks long, and my sister is coming home July 6, she is staying for a week with her 1 y/o daughter, but her husband has to work. She lives in S.C. now and she is also pregnant with her second child, so we are looking forward to her visit. The day she leaves my 5 y/o son goes in for his tonsillectomy, hopefully that will cure his sleep issues. My 2 y/o son is potty training! He is very interested in it (loves flushing) We reward him with an M&M every time he goes just to keep him motivated it worked well with our older son. My boys are playing in the bedroom listening to Chipmunks Christmas, I love hearing the music. I can't wait until the season is here.

First, all the best to your son!! Hopefully they can fix the problem without any pain.

Unfortunately not. Kim was put on the waiting list for Nip is sing but was instantly accepted to the University of Ottawa - where she completed her undergrad. Because of this she accepted her offer to Ottawa and declined the waiting list spot to Nip is sing. We may take a few turns here and there. Otherwise, we'll have to enjoy the time we have when I do my placement in Ottawa. Thanks for the advice!!

Good morning, everyone!!

Thank you all for the advice and support. It means a lot. As soon as I make my decision, I will certainly let you know. It's definitely a big one for me. A comfortable high of 22C or 72F is in the forecast for today. Not bad at all! This comfortable day will make way for the rain we are to receive tomorrow. The rain is to be followed by a heatwave that will see temperatures reach the mid 80s and mid 90s with humidex. They are going to be hot!!

To those are dealing with sweltering heat in the U.S., do your best to stay inside! That all sounds very hot! Hard to believe that tomorrow marks 150 days until the Christmas Season. That's half of the 300 mark Milestone that we hit on January 17th. Single digits until halfway (tomorrow) means that it certainly is fast approaching!

Not much else to say, really. The post count is certainly increasing. I'm sure we're way ahead of the previous mark set by Binger... We need a new goal! Have a great Tuesday, everyone. Do your best to enjoy yourselves today!
