My back is much better today. It's a good thing I decided to just rest after I hurt it. If I tried to keep going I probably would have made it worse.

My granddaughter is 1 today! )

We are still suffering 100+ temps here. Send your weather this way!

You need to head up this way. We are going to have a high of 88 today but the next 3 days they are calling for a high of only 80 degrees. cheesy

.....My mom took us out to a neat little restaurant last night. It's an old house that's been converted into a restaurant. When you're seated, they bring you a glass of iced peach tea that has a slice of lemon, peach and kiwi in it.....

I JUST GOT VERY EXCITING NEWS TODAY!

I have not mentioned anything on here yet because I was a little scared but my dad has suffered from Waldenstrom disease, a form of leukemia. He went into remission nearly 6 years ago. Slowly his protein count has gone up on every 6 month visit to the doctor, which is not good. He went in last week to get his blood tested. I have been a little nervous in hopes it has not gone way up, which would require chemotherapy. The results came back about an hour ago, the protein level did go up a little but not enough to require chemotherapy. They said they don't need to see him again for another 6 months! I am so happy! My mind is cleared for the upcoming holidays and more reason to celebrate!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! I was watching the Hoarders tv show last night and thinking to myself that I could never let my house get that way. Then I started thinking to myself what if they had christmas stuff out for sell all year long. I could see myself buying more everytime I went to the store until I came home one day and realized that there was no where to sit becuase I had santa's stacked from floor to ceiling. So if you ever see an episode where a guy can't move in his apartment because it is full of santa's you'll know it's me. I don't have much planned for today. I have some paperwork to do for work and I need to run to the store. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He still enjoys walking Fox every morning!
