Update on the pumpkin thieves:

I just put a very thick coat of vaseline on the outside of the pumpkins. If they try to pick them up they might gross out wondering what is on them and leave them alone or they are going to drop them from being slippery in their hands. It almost slipped out of my hands when I tried to put them back outside. Lol

I hope to watch it happen if they try it again. Lol.

The vaseline shined them up a bit! I hope it doesn't cause them to rot though.

I had an attempted pumpkin thief!

I told my husband that I was afraid to put pumpkins out in case of kids stealing them. I went ahead and bought some, put them out this morning and already this afternoon I watched a kid sneak up to my house and picked up a pumpkin. I swung the door open, he dropped it and ran! Kids! Lol! His twin brother stood there laughing and telling on his brother. He said, "he just tried to steal your pumpkin"!

I did have the straw display in the yard. I guess I was asking for it but doesn't give him a right to steal! I went ahead and moved it by my front door.

I see this kid walk home from school every day with his twin brother right in front of my house. I wonder if he walks a different route tomorrow? Lol.

That is awful !! I hope the kids settle down and leave your pumpkins alone !

I am not really that angry but I don't want my stuff stolen either. He looked like he is about 8 or 9 years old and probably the other kids around dared him.

I actually started laughing when I saw the look on his face when I opened the door. Not sure he will try it again but got the pumpkins ready in case someone else tries it. Lol.

Kids seem to have a thing about stealing pumpkins and then smashing them.

I have lived in this house nearly 7 years and never had any issues before so hopefully this is a one time thing.

MsChristmas....what a great pic! I remember having dogs all through my childhood. Some may laugh, but I think having a pet made me a better person. I know that to many that doesn't make sense, but I feel it's true.

Who else thinks Father Time turned back the hands of time to July because it sure is hot here! We hit 92 today (two consecutive days of record heat). Sheesh!

Good evening,

I was not able to talk to my boss about the vacation time at work today, which was just an absolutely horrible night, the Thanksgiving turkeys came in on my day off which in turn made the freezer impossible to get into, and nobody did anything to help get them put in there correctly, then I had a trainee who thought it was beneath her to do a job I asked of her, but I was the only one who knew what to do and I was dealing with the turkey issue, she walked out and I didn't see her the rest of the night. Then somebody took my jacket and hat that I wear in the freezer, and I could not find it the rest of the night. I was very close to quitting tonight my co-workers talked me out of it though, I have had it lately, I think I am going to look for a new job soon, I know it is tough market out there but I need to try.

Oh your night sounds really bad! hope you get some decent sleep... Just looking around to try and find something else is not a bad idea, you'll never know what you'll find... hope you'll refind your coat and hat and get to talk to your boss soon... sounds like you desserve some time off!

good morning everyone......woke up and Kandice had a slight fever and is sneezing again....it´s nothing serious but I can´t put her to preschool with it.....so we´ll hang out at home so she can hopefully recover a little

Good morning to every one... had to woke up real early because at 7 o clock the carpenters and the plummers should come in, but i'm still siting here (half sleeping) and they never showed up!

I'm going to get myself some coffee under further enjoy my platinum membership hihihi (i'm so glad with it :lol: )

Morning everyone. Its a cool 46 in London Ontario Canada at 7:02am. Its the day after Thanksgiving. Well For the first time in a LONG time I had Thanksgiving dinner ON Thanksgiving! When I got home from work we went over to my Wifes parents place. William had fun playing with his Grandparents and Aunt. He fed the fish in the pond and laughed at the dog and cat. We had a great dinner and relaxed after. We went home and watched a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Had a bad night with William because he is still a little sick and might be getting new teeth. Now I'm up here at work. I'm going to be cutting the lawn today, probably the last time for this season. I was listening to Christmas tunes on the way to work too! Well I guess I should go and do some work? haha. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone! Well my Pup had chewed up our TV remote and part of my youngest son's bed when I got home from work last night. I guess he was bored being home by himself. I hope he will get used to it. Normally I have off at least 1 day during the week so I hope he can adjust. He also doesnt get along to well with our cats but I have hope he will get better with time cheesy

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I am off of work for that and also Thursday. I will work Friday and then have off until the 25th. My Mom is going to Arizona so I will be home watching the kids.

I know these next few weeks are going to fly with me being off work. When I get back it will be the week of Halloween.

Hi everyone, I've been away for awhile, but I couldn't stay away
I've been reading the posts from xmas365, I feel really bad, I agree with those who are guiding you not to quit out of fusteration (sp, sorry). You need a plan, and you need to be the one who controls your enviornment not the ones giving you problems, I know, I know easier "said" than done. But, try to work out a plan of action to get into a new company. I know it is tough out there, but the ball is really in your court, think about it you are still working so that means you are a vauluable employee, market yourself and get out there. Try not to fall into the "trap" of h the hoildays are coming I'll wait until there over, don't wait. You are worth a good enviorment and you deserve it.
