Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good evening,

Party went well, I have decided that tonight will be the last night for my outdoor decorations, but my window candles will remain on for a little longer, plus my indoor stuff will start to come down slowly this week, just time to "cut the Christmas cord." The blues have subsided enough to do it so I just have to feel better to do it.

Yes! I just noticed on the weather channel it looks like Birmingham and northward is getting slammed right now with snow! congrats in the rare snow..heck you know what is sad and pathetic on my part? I am getting excited for us to just be getting sleet and freezing rain tonight at this point which is rare too for southern ga!
 
The next 3 weeks I will be in training classes at work so I have to get use to studying again! The good news is I will be able to sleep later in the mornings,not that I will but its nice not to have to get up and leave so early!

yes , im thinking the same thing, my lights inside have burnt out on some decorations and I will take it as a sign .....its gotta come down!!i! :-? I never thought Id say that !:?
 
BUT, are you going to make SNOW CREAM???

The Crab Feed for Scholarships was phenomenal!!! We made money, the food was good, and I have lunch for tomorrow!!

i live in a condo, and to keep in line with xmas 365 , let it be known that on January 9 2011, the White Twinkle lights that adorned the trees in the courtyard have been darkened , dismantled ,and their whereabouts are unknown. :tree:
 
Just heard on the weather channel that the South is getting hit with a severe winter storm with sleet and icy conditions. Hoping all in that region stay safe tonight!

Yep! My first snow event at my new job with the Alabama Department of Transportation in Tuscumbia. Want to guess where I am at 1:15 in the morning?
 
Good morning every one :)

I did read every thing that was posted :) but I am not going to comment on every one, since I have little time today:
I have been all down about those exam results, feeling like I've got nothing to look forward too... Well yesterday I started preparing for a really great internship which I will have at the Ministery of Foreign affairs! It's a relaly big thing to get, so I should be proud of myself! Furthermore I enrolled for a masters programm, and now I am writing a motivation letter, a cv, asking for recommendation letters... I don't want to study Chinese any more, and of course Chinese is hard, but that does not mean I am dumb and that I can't do anything :P So now I am feeling better and trying to focus on what I want to do and what I have to do to get there, instead of realising that the things I have to do are not neccesarily fun :P

And after having worked hard for my future, I am going to have dinner with one of my best friends :) that sounds like a great day to me!
 
Oh and those of you who hardly ever get snow and might get snow today: Please enjoy it to the fullest :D
