Wow, here it is already September. there is a chill in the air, the leaves are starting to change and the gardens are almost done producing. And best of all, only a few short months left until Christmas.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! I'm sitting here waiting on the rain. With my luck though it will probably fall apart before it gets here like yesterday. I don't have much on the agenda for today. I got all of my shopping and cleaning done yesterday. So I guess it's just going to be a lazy day. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I went to bed around 5 pm just to watch TV but never got back up and was asleep around 8 pm. I didn't wake up until 7 am. I better be rested now!!!

I am sad I missed the Greasy Skillet again. I will try again next Saturday!

I am going to be super busy today. I hope you all have a Merry Day!!! :transform:

well my plans for the day are Bday cake later on in Celebration of my Grandmother & dads birthdays!!!!!!.. Then going down to the marina to watch a karaoke contest!
Other then that, I've been lazing around all day. Actually i'm watching the grinch right now with my pooch

Before I try to finish reading all the posts from yesterday and today, I need to rant (delete if this is TMI). I had to be absent two half-days this week (Wednesday in the afternoon and Thursday in the morning). My kids misbehaved and I asked the principal to come in and talk to them. She was at my door on Friday morning to meet with me and told me that I was the reason for the students' misbehavior, that I had been absent too much, and that this was a problem!!! I guess that I am not allowed to get the same benefits from our contract as the other teachers! I guess that I cannot be sick or absent, even though per our contract, we get 10 sick days a year! Rant over. TTYL

I am outraged that you are being treated this way by your principal, Seawaters!

Seawaters- I don't think I should post on here what I would have said to her but I'm sure I would have menetioned that the next time I get a life threating disease I would try to make sure it was at a better time for her. In fact, send me her e-mail address and I'll tell her for you.

Good morning, MMC! How is everyone? I am well. Just doing some wash and spending time with my little ones.

Yesterday here was so busy - I was going to stop in via my iPhone, then I never even got a chance to do that. We had a "End of summer party/picnic". DH and I spent the day cleaning and cooking. Between doing that and keeping the kids entertained, we were very busy. The end result was a lot of fun though and the kids had a wonderful time as well.

Labor Day is my holiday off, so I will be off tonight, but of course will work tomorrow night. That is how my holiday's work (I am off the night before the holiday). DH works the holiday - it doesn't matter if he works 4 holidays in a row, he has to work. He has to work every 4 days, it is just how the holidays fall. It stinks, but that is how it works. My parents, sister, and her boyfriend are coming in for a small picnic tomorrow, that way the kids and I aren't by ourselves.

Well, I hope everyone is well and having a great holiday weekend. We are here! I am going to go stick another load of wash in and try to start getting caught up on the Countdown. I am a few days behind now. God Bless and stay safe!
