Days to Christmas Day: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS the day after tomorrow!)
Good Golly!

It was still chilly yesterday but rain free.
We should get a warming trend starting later today with most of the next few days dry.
Currently, we show a chattery 29 degrees here in the capital city.

Great news !!! I am beginning to have TOES again !!! The swelling and pain are going from my toes, not all the way gone yet but going and the swelling and pain in my right thumb is 99% gone. Now if I can just keep tolerating the medication as it builds in my system.....Much fewer side effects than Methotrex**te.....Fingers crossed everybody ?? xoo

A Christmas Carol is going to be on this weekend, I think a couple of different versions of it. I know for sure the George C. Scott one is going to be on and I think TCM is showing the Alastair Sim version, not 100% on that one but I think so.

Good morning all my friends!

Not feeling very well today. Hopefully its just a bug that will go away. Eating some chicken noodle soup right now. On my way to work I will pick up some meds to get me through the work day. Other then that everything is good here. Saw another Christmas movie that I haven't seen before called Chasing Christmas. Very good! I can't believe its almost here? Wasn't it just September? As soon as September hits, the time flys by. Busy busy weekends all through the end of the year. This weekend resting. Weekend after, Dads for Christmas. Weekend after that, Moms for Christmas. Whew! Don't forget the family drama! Wouldn't be Christmas without it! hah! We had our Christmas dinner last night at work. It was good. Stuffing, turkey, potatoes, gravy and more! I was stuffed after dinner! There was door prizes and I won a 50 dollar walmart card. Helps out at this time of year. Well. Back to resting and soup! Take it easy and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is the first of four half-days at school. I don't know why they do this, but it sure is a pain. Luckily, my kids are old enough to stay by themselves in the afternoon, but the parents of smaller children have to try to workout a plan for this. It seems to me that we'd go all day today and all day Monday, then be out of school. Roll with the punches, Brad.

I still have a little shopping to do. I have to pickup something for Nancy form the kids, then some from us and my brother for our mom. She is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for. She buys herself everything she wants. Urg.

I really want to get out and see some Christmas light displays this week, too. There are a few local displays that are wonderful!

Good morning everyone.

I have been gone for a while. Both of my parents have been in the hospital. Dad with pneumonia. Mom with complications from cancer including pneumonia and a UTI. Dad is doing better and may get out today. Mom is a little better but will be there a while longer. They are both in Gastonia, NC so I walked through Christmas town USA, (McAdenville) several nights after leaving the hospital. http://www.mcadenville-christmastown.com/ It was a needed break.

I will drop back in when I can. Hope everyone has a great Christmas season as we celebrate the day God became a man to model a perfect life for us, provide for us to be reconciled to God by dying for our sins, and then rising again. It is neat to celebrate his birth while anticipating his return.

We miss you! Praying for you all.

Well, only one more day until the weekend. It's hard to believe that I will be returning home for Christmas exactly a week from today. I'm excited. It will be wonderful to see my family and experience Christmas in Sault Ste. Marie, once again. There is no better setting - for me - for Christmas. I'm greatly looking forward to it!

Just finishing up The Polar Express on ABC Family. I don't know if I will watch Christmas In Connecticut which I DVR'd today or something else. I am getting pretty sleepy. As usual, all my furkids except the two daredevil felines are already asleep and snoring.

Hey yall! Hope everyone is good! Tonight has been a great night....pizza, Christmas Vacation, and The Polar Express....awesome. I didn't watch football tonight and the wife isn't at home....but those two movies are the best ever, so i couldn't pass them up...such a good combination.

This should be a good weekend.....first Christmas party...final shopping weekend....should be a lot of fun....

Tomorrow is the last full day of school and then three more days of testing...then a break....nice.

Busy day today, the boys got their Christmas haircuts tonight, mine will be next week. Getting ready to watch the Bengals tonight.

What are Christmas haircuts? Did they get their hair cut to look like a Christmas tree with glittery lights in it??? :wiggy: (That was lame, I know! :wink I'm sure the boys look great!

We are nowhere near the newer technology, all of our TV's have a tube, we don't have any Ipods, Itouch, or anything I, no tablets, or smartphones, we avoid Facebook like the plague. We just started using MP3's pretty recently, we read books and listen to CD's. We are just a couple of dinosaurs in our 30's.

The only electronic I would want to keep is my computer and get rid of the rest! =)

Good Morning MMC!!!!! The warm up continues today with a high in the mid 50's predictied for today. I have to babysit today and tonight and then tomorrow I think I'm taking my niece's shopping for their mom and dad. I was going to do some cleaning but with my niece's cleaning it's not really worth it. So instead I'm going to make some blueberry muffins or maybe a coffee cake. I haven't quite decided yet. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
