Good afternoon, MMC friends and how are you all this fine afternoon? I am well, just a little of a headache. I didn't get enough sleep today...story of my life!

DS had his 9 month check up today. Doctor said he looked very healthy. We can stop formula (Yeahhhhh). That will save me so much money. He eats so much already though - so that may not...

Nothing new here. 2 more nights of work, then I am off the weekend. DH should be going back to work for his 4 days of work, but he is on vacation for his 4 days. It will be nice to be off together for change. Hopefully we can do something fun together with the kids this weekend.

Well, I am off to the Pines. I am headed out early to get a good spot by the pool. Is anyway else coming to join me? :hello:

I would definitely mention this to the professor. You should not have to suffer consequences because of the screamer!!! If he is not willing to work with you, I would take it further!

I did terrible on my final exam. My teacher put me in a computer lab and this girl kept talking and screaming so I couldn't even concentrate. The questions were tricky and each had two that could potentially be the right answer. I couldn't even focus with her shouting at people. The only good news is that he has to grade the essays on his own, so I might manage to get a D instead of failing. I have never done so poorly on a test! What an awful way to end the semester in that class. Happy Rudolph Day to me

Not too bad! I went to a Survivors Benefit last night and learned that the American Cancer Society might be able to help us with a gas card during my treatments. The treatment center is 78 miles away (one way) so the extra money would definitely help us!

CAH's uncle passed away suddenly this morning. This comes as a shock as it was totally unexpected, he had some health issues and was sick these past few days, but it didn't seem all that serious. In fact he was planning on going to the doctor today if he didn't feel any better. We appreciate any and all thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We used to go over his house every Christmas Eve which was always a good time, in fact I think he had his tree up before we did every year. I am sure this coming Christmas will be very difficult as well. Thanks.

My 2 year old granddaughter said, "I'm tired, I need a cup of coffee".

Love it!

I received my final grade in Statistics today - an 89% which is the highest B. I wish it was a 90! The class is 4 credits which means it is about as hard as you can get, so the A would have provided more weight for my grade. I'll take the 89 though, especially for a math class!

Hey! And thanks, I did have a pretty good day. I just decided to watch Scrooged. I love Bill Murray and that is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies!

Just wanted to share with you all that today at Walmart I saw Christmas necklaces! They were on the front corner of the jewelry counter in their own little display case. They had candy canes, snowmen, santa and Christmas tree ones and they were all silver with a little red detail. They were so cute! Definitely would have bought one if I had the cash.

Scrooged is one of my favorites, too!

I have to share - my niece stayed with us over the weekend (she's 20) - Saturday afternoon it was just her & I at home & she was in the shower bellowing "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas" 1st I thought what in the heck is she singing....then I cracked up! LOVE HER! And every day at some point since Saturday, I have found myself singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas..." So I have already had my 1st Chrsitmas Caroler of 2012!

I dropped off some Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and a batch of oatmeal, craisin, chocolate chip and black walnut cookie bars at the Pines - hope you enjoy them! I barely had time to get a cup of Carl's special brew before I headed back to work. Not sure what was in it, but I have gotten my second wind - it is going to be a productive evening!
