I got a job interview!
Wednesday afternoon at 3pm. It is at the subway in a town a 10 min drive from here. Full time hours (hoping that means days Mon to Fri)

Yay!! Good luck, Christmasstar!!!

LOL! I must be dead at least one hundred times by now.

I would be, too, if I actually opened them up and read them cheesy

It was really hot here today too ! I went out once to get the mail and nearly died !!

I'm glad you are okay! How is your asthma in this heat? Take care!!!

Be Careful!!!!!! They say it's going to be even hotter tomorrow and Wednesday.

Yes, CM3, be careful! You, too, Made!

Hello MMC friends,

I hope everyone is well, and has had a wonderful day. We are getting really close to Christmas time, how exciting. I hope everyone has a good night sleep tonight.

Hello, yolie! It is so exciting to get closer to Christmas - the time seems to be flying by now! I hope you had a good night's sleep, too!

I've got to get to bed. I get to babysit the next 2 days so I need all the rest I can get. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with the babysitting - maybe they will be a bit calmer with the heat wave!

Good late evening,

Another busy day, I should be asleep by now but need to check in here before bed. I work tomorrow and have Thursday off this week because some bigwig and their entourage will be touring this week so I need to be there early the next 2 days. We will be getting close to 100*F Wed. and Thurs. this week. We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner, the food was mediocre, but we plan to go back there to see the store around Christmastime, it seems like a place that would have great Christmas merchandise. Anyone ever seen their Christmas stuff?

Have a great night!!!

I have never been to Cracker Barrel. There is one about 45 minutes away - I want to go at Christmas now, too!

Good evening, Christmas family

Getting ready to call it an evening. Tomorrow I have to do editing for the very first time. I have no clue what I am doing but as I have learned a lot of different things related to this job over the years I am hoping this will just be one more thing to learn. Not looking forward to it though.

It is pretty much official that I will be losing my healthcare insurance. I am hoping to have enough time in order to line up new insurance but I don't know. It is going to be tough finding coverage with asthma AND migraines I think. Insurance companies are funny that way.......They want your money but they dont want to pay and they want you to be perfectly healthy so they can get their premiums. Oh well. Just one more big bump in the road.

Both vehicles are still down. My husband rode his Harley to work today and as I work here I didn't have to go anywhere. He is pretty sure it is the fuel pump on his truck and on my Honda he is not sure. It acts just fine for weeks then all of a sudden you may go out to start it and it just will not start. Then if it sits a while longer it is fine again. I am really hoping it is not an electrical problem. They are almost impossible to find a lot of times when it comes to cars. As my former mother-in-law used to say "it will all come out in the wash.." I know this too shall pass.

Christmasstar - Good luck with your interview !!!! xoxo

I hope everyone is doing well.

Big (((HUGS))) To Harlowe, Ella, Snickers, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Chico, Meca and siblings, Gomez and siblings, Snowball, Victor, Penny, Pocket, Daisy, Scooby, Sasha, Jacob, Cracker and to all furchildren everywhere xo

Good luck with the editing - it is so exciting to be able to learn something that can advance your career. Once you get into it, I'm sure it will be very easy for you!!! I'm so sorry about the insurance issue you are having. I pray things work out for you! If you can give a bit more info about your car issues, I can relay them to my cousin - he is almost a master mechanic. It takes time to get hold of him, though, as he is so busy. Thank you for the hugs for Mouse, Palmer and Bo - they love their Auntie CM3!!! {{{CM3, hubby and furkids}}}

good morning everyone!
sounds like alot of you are gearing up for Christmas. wooohooo!
i'm headed back to work today. i'm really dreading it. i'm sure my body will be aching tonight. bummer!

Good morning, Merry! I hope your day at work is better than you think it will be!!! Have a great day!!!!

Good Morning, my Friends.

With Monday (hopefully, a Marvelous one) behind us, we trip on to Tuesday and yet another new count figure:
Days to the Season: 147
Days to Christmas Day: 189
Hey!
UNDER a week now until the half-way point to Christmas Day 2012!

Uh oh!
The humidity and the temperature were up a bit yesterday.
Muggy conditions are just around the corner - I can feel it.
Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Anyway, be you hot or be you cool.....
(What am I saying? EVERYONE here is cool!!)
......you have a Terrific Tuesday, OK?

:???:
You have a Terrific Tuesday, too, Crown!!

Good morning, MMC!

It is going to be a warm one here today - 95 according to a forecast I heard on a local radio station. I have to run errands in the morning while it is still fairly cool out and then I hope to be able to work this afternoon. I have been having technical difficulties with the computer I normally use - hopefully I will have it fixed later!

Have a MERRY day and stay cool!!!!

:cold:

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It looks like we are going to see a high of 95 or 96 today. Way to hot for me. My niece's just got up so it's hard to tell what kind of day it's going to be. Hopefully it's a good one but I'm sure they will want to go outside and play and I don't know if I'm up for that in this kind of heat. Well I'm off to fix some breakfast. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

When I got home yesterday there were no messages to followup on, so I took my son off of the Xbox, my daughter off of the Wii, and we all jumped in the pool. Ahhh! We had a great time just splashing a playing. We finally had to get out to eat supper, and they complained about having to get out...LOL! I might try that again this afternoon.

My mother-in-law is out of town, so we had supper with Bernie. Boiled peanuts. That's what we had for supper, and it was great! They were as fresh as they could be. My brother-in-law pulled them out of the field yesterday afternoon, and Bernie picked the peanuts off of the roots. We washed them & boiled them immeadiately.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Meetings.....LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG week ahead. Wanted to stop by and say hi! Hope I get to later this week, but if not, I will see you Saturday morning for coffee....
I hope you can get some rest!
We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner, the food was mediocre, but we plan to go back there to see the store around Christmastime, it seems like a place that would have great Christmas merchandise. Anyone ever seen their Christmas stuff?
Wayne and I were just talking about Cracker Barrel. That is my very favorite place for Christmas decorations. I buy something from them every year. I like their Halloween stuff too! The prices are not too bad and they run sales on their goodies quite a bit!

As much as they charge for insurance these days they sure don't have very good coverage then they just take it from you! I hope you can get something soon. Asthma is nothing to mess around with!
cah, thanks for sharing the story of your granddaughter & meca. they sound so sweet together. made me smile this morning. how's tex?
Snow-in-Texas is doing a whole lot better. Thanks for asking!

Boiled peanuts sound so good! I haven't had any in awhile!

Our temps have remained in the mid 90's which is actually nice summer weather for our area. It does cool off in the evening. Starting next week we will reach triple digits and I am not looking forward to that!!! That usually means it doesn't cool off even when the sun goes down and the electricity goes up but that's the way it goes! :yahoo:

Have a Merry Sunny Day my friends!!!

I've never bought any of their Christmas stuff, but I do enjoy going in & looking around. They do have some nice things.

I haven't had a night without something to do in over two weeks. I'm hoping to get that night tonight & catch up on laundry from vacation & maybe watch a Christmas movie. Here's hoping!

My husband is a huge scary movie fan, too, and he teases me about being a fan of Christmas movies AND scary movies- that they couldn't be on more opposite ends of the spectrum!

So, what are some of your favorite scary movies?

Halloween
Diary of the Dead
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th
Wrong Turn
The Crazies
Silent Hill
Night of the Living Dead
Children of the Corn
Dawn of the Dead
Devil

And then there are movies like Fright Night that I have to watch every October, even though they really aren't scary. ;-)

I got a job interview!
Wednesday afternoon at 3pm. It is at the subway in a town a 10 min drive from here. Full time hours (hoping that means days Mon to Fri)

Congrats and good luck!! :-)

Hey where is everyone? Wake up!!! Nap time was over 2 hours ago.

hey, that is what I just said! LOL

Nice to see someone else inside hiding from the heat

I just got home from my sister's house and I don't plan on going back outside the rest of the night. It's way to hot out there!!!

I can not believe my middle child turned 7 today. Born just 1 pound 10 ounces she is now heading into the 1st grade. Our little miracle baby never ceases to amaze us.
