Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you are all having a good start to your Wednesday. It's Pinesday already! Where does the time go? In general, I cannot believe that it is August. I feel like I was just getting ready for my summer break at the end of April - now it's all gone! The only good thing about the passing time is the nearing of Christmas!
How has everyone been? How are your families? Any exciting plans for the end of summer?
Overall, I haven't done too much this summer. I stayed at home, really. We didn't take a vacation, but my mom and I are going to Florida in a couple of months. There isn't anything really exciting to do around here except the one amusement park we have. I didn't even get the opportunity to go there because my parents/brother worked and my friends and I could never make the time to go. I spent most of my summer working for a class online and working in general. The past couple of weeks have been fun for me with my friends. It's nice being 21 and being able to go out and have a couple of drinks or just to hang out. Tonight is karaoke night at one of the local bars, so a couple of my girl friends and I might stop out and give it a whirl. I am actually pretty good at singing so we'll see how it goes!

My mom's birthday was a few days ago so there is plenty of cake leftover that I have been eating. I am not much of a cake person, but even I can't pass up a good dessert :] We are about to head out and run a few errands. When I get home I will pop on and catch up on posts. It'll take me a while but I am determined to do so!
